“Flat white was one of the nicest I’ve had, and beautifully presented. Really good value as well. We had 2 flat whites, 1 caramel frappe, 1 lemon drizzle cake, 1 tunnocks caramel wafer and a huge waffle with syrup and cream!! £16.30. 3 young people working who had excellent customer service and barista skills too.”

“I definitely rated this place a few years ago, but it is the go-to breakfast place that I take my family to every time they visit. The staff are lovely, the portions are huge, and it is always so popular too. The lovely lady opening was barely a few minutes late, but still rewarded us with extra cake as an apology, which was just great. Please go here!”

“Food was lovely, all served really quickly and hot. Staff were super nice. My sister forgot one of her birthday gifts which included a card with money and the bar staff kept this by for her to collect the following day. So honest. Will defo be back, most likely, weekly.”

“Over the last 4 weeks, I've been in this bar on a frequent basis and it certainly didn't disappoint. The customers are spot on, very friendly. But I must say, sometimes you meet people who totally lighten up your day. They are usually called Bar-Staff. I'll certainly be drinking in this bar again.”

“We came across Pirate Pete at the David Lloyd on a Sunday afternoon and both my boys (who usually aren’t a fan of party entertainers) loved him! I think it was a mix of being fun but not loud and in your face. We then booked Pirate Pete for my sons 4th birthday party and it was the best decision we ever made. All the kids had a great time! Pirate Pete made such a special effort to make sure the birthday boy felt the centre of attention but still included all the children. Just as before even the kids who are very shy loved it as he gently encourages everyone to participate. Thanks so much Pirate Pete. Sorry it took so long to leave you a review! You were great and remembered so fondly by the boys!”

“Was just in for lunch and got the Dirty Chips. The chips are the absolute best chips ive ever had. Nice and crisp with fluffy inside. Not burnt or underdone and soggy. Staff are amazing”

“Breakfast with tea is terrific value comes with a roll and a tea black pudding is quality always loved stornoway but this was Welsh and it's better than stornoway nice thick cut bacon square was also good quality service was great couldn't be any better will ne back on a regular basis from now on also toasties we're decent nice fresh salad and coleslaw good coffee”

“The staff went above and beyond. Ross was our server and Zoe kindly dressed up as Santa for all of the kids. The kids received a present and had another staff member making balloon shapes for the kids.. the service was amazing as were the staff. Made us feel so comfortable”

“Had a lovely stay last night. Views of the Clyde from our room where phenomenal. Staff were the most friendliest, warm, welcoming and were so accomadating with bar staff helping us in from the car with our bags. Room was lovely, fresh and very clean. We had little bottles of water and tea's an coffee's in our room on arrival. It's the small touches that make it. Thank you for a lovely stay, and we can't wait to visit you again next year ☺.”
