“Wonderful peaceful place to go for a walk and take in some nature. This area is my go to place locally for walking the dogs, pathways are extensive and mixed, in relatively good condition (although some eroded by River Clyde) and currently there is obviously some work going on to provide markers and new information boards. If visiting please take your litter with you, I often see volunteers cleaning it up which they shouldn’t have to.”

“Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely and clean. Various things going on and different sized halls, rooms to hold groups in. Would defo recommend popping in to see whats on offer.”

“A fabulous little theatre tucked away in the local community!! Their array of shows are always on point☝️ Recently refurbished lounge area is a lovely space to visit prior and after shows and enjoy a refreshment or 2!! Highly recommend paying them a visit”

My little boy absolutely adores his teachers and has came on leaps and bounds since being here . He loves going and is always happy . Can’t get him to leave at times . I would recommend to anyone this nursery it’s amazing . Staff always have time for a chat and nothing is ever too much amazing .”

“My daughter's original nursery closed due to the pandemic and as my husband and I are both key workers she was moved to Smiley Stars. I was anxious about the move as there was no notice and we couldn't do a settling in due to work pressures. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise. There aren't enough superlatives to describe this place. My introvert little girl grew in confidence every day. In her old nursery she would barely speak to her teachers at Smiley Stars she would hug them. She was happy. She didn't want to leave at home time and was excited to go in the morning. We got daily updates with photos. She played with educational toys. She started to be able to sound out words like 'pet', 'cat', 'dog'. She got the best start for primary school. I think the best thing is that they support your child to be themselves and genuinely care. There's no helicopter 'parenting' they guide the children to sort out their issues which is so important for starting school. Want to be a princess one day and a pirate the next? No problem. Imaginative play is encouraged. On her last day they held a little graduation ceremony for her despite the fact she'd only been there a few months. They created a memory that will last a life time and gave her a printed book of photos to remind her of her time with them. We are grateful for her time here. If we were to do it again we would have chosen this place as her main nursery. It was so different from her last nursery in every way. Smiley Stars will give your child the best start.”

“Great nursery, staff are caring and supportive. Outdoor play is an important part of their day. Biggest review is from my 2 year old who loves everyone there. I like the fact that staff from across the 3 rooms know my little boy's name and say hello to him. Makes the move between rooms so much easier.”

“We booked the space for my son's 2nd birthday and it was BRILLIANT! Such a bright and airy space with a great selection of crafting materials, toys and books. We also hired the bouncy castle and it was really safe and huge hit with the kiddos. We brought our own food for the kids, but ordered pizza from the restaurant downstairs for the adults and they were affordable and delicious. Kristen was super friendly and welcoming and gave us really clear instructions for how to book, what was expected of us on the day and directions to the venue. Highly recommended!”

The outdoor garden also provides great fun. I was nervous about putting my baby into nursery but the staff completely eased my mind. The management are also lovely and compassionate.”

“We came across Pirate Pete at the David Lloyd on a Sunday afternoon and both my boys (who usually aren’t a fan of party entertainers) loved him! I think it was a mix of being fun but not loud and in your face. We then booked Pirate Pete for my sons 4th birthday party and it was the best decision we ever made. All the kids had a great time! Pirate Pete made such a special effort to make sure the birthday boy felt the centre of attention but still included all the children. Just as before even the kids who are very shy loved it as he gently encourages everyone to participate. Thanks so much Pirate Pete. Sorry it took so long to leave you a review! You were great and remembered so fondly by the boys!”

Lovely ambience, kind carers and the learning experiences have been evident. My daughter is leaving as a very confident well spoken child. It took us all a little bit of adjustment to the weekly routines but we are so glad we chose Sunflower nursery. “Both of our children have gone to Smiley Stars in Mansewood and have been so well cared for. It's a clean, friendly, fun and loving environment. The management team endeavour to help out with last minute requests if we have been stuck and need last minute early drop off or for them to be fed dinner. The nursery teachers in each room genuinely care and get to know each child and what comforts them. It's so reassuring to know they're safe and happy while we are busy at work. Very good communication with regular updates and photos of what they're up to, which helps so much especially if they've been upset being dropped off. Lots of indoor and outdoor activities to keep them learning and occupied. Thank you so much for helping our kids grow ❤️”

“Great for wee ones, my daughter loves this space. Nice to be able to do your own thing, never over-crowded or too busy either. Floor is cushioned for wobbly wee ones and lots of nice sensory experiences. Can book on the day up to the hour before which is really handy, and plenty of parking and baby change available as well as a cafe. Jenna is lovely!”
