“Just had two sofas and a chair delivered by Gem Upholstery and I was delighted at the superb workmanship. Joe has managed to change a twenty year old, black suite into sofas that are going to give me a life full of joy for many more years to come. I chose magenta and green and I have no idea how to submit a picture so you can see how beautiful they look. Joe is a lovely man, he arrived when he said he would and delivery was about five weeks. “We booked Kidnetick for our daughters 4th birthday party yesterday and they were incredible! Calum and Nina were fantastic and kept the kids entertained for the full 1 1/2 hrs - I don't think my daughter left the dance floor the whole time! Nina's energy was boundless and her command over a group of 15 unruly kids was very impressive indeed! We also got a visit from Spiderman and Unicorn Princess from Wish Upon A Star who wowed the kids and made some of their dreams come true. Overall the day got a big thumbs-up from kids and adults alike and I would not hesitate to use them again.”

“The weather was perfect for an outside concert in glasgow. This was a special night for me as stiff little fingers was the first band I seen at the age of 14 in glasgow apollo march 1980. I got the train in from east kilbride had a few beers and and as soon as slf took the stage I was that 14 year old boy again singing along to every song to the extent I lost my voice for a couple of day's. Great band , great weather. Great venue. One of the best nights I've had in years.. hanx!!”

MILK  also offers free classes and workshops which are open to all women in our community (and sometimes, where appropriate, men and children too).”

“Went here on recommendation from a friend & wasn't disappointed. Emailed prior to reserve a table & received a friendly reply. There is a smallish car park at the back & some space at the side & on the road. Friendly staff greeted us & despite the turnover of tables being busy, the staff were attentive at checking we were all ok. The menu has a good range of choices & our food was delicious. It was also a reasonable price. Will definitely go again when visiting Stirling”

“Absolutely incredible and unique experience. Probably best enjoyed by adults though not children and not for you if you're easily creeped out I guess. Honestly, if you do your research and understand the type of place this is and are still interested you will probably enjoy it, though art is always subjective at the end of the day. My partner and I loved it. The performance is captivating and does a great job of drawing your attention to certain sections of each piece as it plays (with the ability to look in more detail at the end) and bringing out emotions from the Soviet era. The pieces themselves are quite intricate and regardless of whether the style of the art is to your taste, I feel like the overall performance including the movement, lighting and music let's you see into the soul of the artist which in my opinion is interesting regardless of what I think about each piece personally and speaks on several levels unlike, say paintings (though those have their own appeal in a different way of course). The information about the artist and small plaques next to each piece are interesting additional info but very non intrusive so it's your choice to read it or form your own ideas. Got a bit rambly there but long story short, give it a shot if you're creatively inclined, like mechanical models or are looking for something a bit different.”

“We came tonight for our first ever skate lesson and the staff were so nice and helpful. We stayed for the session afterwards and the vibes were so nice and the music was amazing. I highly recommend giving this place a visit, especially if you need a little mood boost. You will definitely leave feeling uplifted, with a smile on your face.”

“Lovely church, lots of little motif’s all around the church and the stain glass is beautiful. Small side room with quite a bit of Macintosh items and a little shop. We visited when the Earth exhibit was there and it was superb being about to get up close to it. Only minus was that it’s so big you don’t see much of the top of the planet and the clouds can cover whole countries”

“I lovely visit, and an arts & crafts fayre. The upstairs coffee shop was a wee bit disorganised, but coffee and cake were nice. Then the bus I was travelling in got stuck on the road out. Nothing to do directly with the House of an Art Lover. A football enthusiast parked badly on the one way out system and we couldn't get passed. We were stuck for over 2 hours. Lack of traffic wardens did add to the issue. That apart, it was a lovely visit to the House.”
