“Stayed here just the one night as we had a night out booked in Glasgow. Our room was great. Lovely and clean with a huge bed. Staff very polite and helpful. Breakfast was buffet style with lots of choice . Would definitely return . They have huge suites which our friends had and if you are staying longer I would highly recommend one of these.”

“The staff at this hotel were so kind upon check-in! The room was also cleaner than the hotel I stayed at in Edinburgh. For a basic hotel before your flight this was a great choice for me, no frills but cleanliness and friendliness. The dinner and breakfast menu also had expansive options, including vegan, and looked delightful. I did not eat it though!”

“The hotel provided a great experience. The rooms and facilities were clean, the location was convenient, and the staff were very helpful. We were allowed to leave our luggage prior to check-in, and they courteously offered access to the restroom for changing clothes. Highly recommended.”

“I had taken my wee pup for his second vaccination yesterday. Right from the moment he went through the door he was put at ease, girls were brilliant making a fuss which he loved. The vet was great answering all my questions and was really great with Vinnie to the point he didnt realised he had been jagged. Great first appointment which will make it easier getting the dog to go back.”

“Alan is just one of a kind. He is so lovely, welcoming and clearly takes pride in his kennels and truly loves looking after the Dogs and Cats there. This was so reassuring as it was Milo and Skye’s first time at a kennels. We picked them up and Alan had bathed and they were smelling lovely. “These kennels are under new management so gave them a go for daycare for my precious girl. The facilities are endless including a play field and an indoor play area for rainy days. The reception area is bright and welcoming and the staff immediately put my mind at rest for leaving my girl as they were very friendly and she took to them immediately. In addition they have lovely grooming facilities and clean and well maintained kennels which they were happy to show me. I will definitely be using hartfield again”

“Hyndland Street Vets saved the day for our boy Lazare! After 4 years in Glasgow we were moving back to the US and Lazare was denied boarding on his flight from Frankfurt to St Louis because his travel documents went missing somewhere en route during his Edinburgh to Frankfurt flight. (Lufthansa!) On a very busy Friday before May Bank Holiday weekend — HSVS produced an original official heath certificate WITHIN HOURS so we could get him on the next flight. He’s with us a safe and sound now so I want to extend my sincere gratitude to HSVS for going above and beyond to help us. You all are THE BEST! Thank you!”

“We've been using Happy Hound Hotel for our dog for a few years now and we highly recommend this place. We love receiving photos and updates about our dog and it's reassuring to know he's having a wonderful time and he's settled. We love the outdoor area and the clean rooms provided for dogs. We think of the Happy Hound Hotel a holiday home for our dog where he has a chance to play with other dogs and run around. We are confident he's well looked after as as he will be at home. Please book well in advance as the demand is high for such a good service.”

“Personally I would highly recommend Glenauld Kennels! Being the owner of a Male American Akita Kaiser who has just turned 2! (whom lets be honest, have a bad reputation ) and CAN be very unpredictable and aloof at times)....if not raised properly!!! That is!! ..... But after booking my Boy in for 5 days....... I can sincerely say that he had a great time! And clearly well cared for! ( so much so! I swear he was smiling) Haha..... he is an extremely energetic Dog with a mind of his own.!...And completely disobeys anyone ( Unless my presence is there) FACT!!....I knew that he might have been a bit of a handful ( piss taker ) for his carers, but they just took it in their stride, and seen his own amazing personality....rather than his breed.. Will not find a better Service than this ...”

“Absolutely fabulous! Took the dog swimming here tonight with a friend and their dog. What a wonderful fun time we all had. The pool is excellent! My dog had a brilliant time and was getting more and more confident throughout the session. Such joy to see your furry baby having the best time”

“Excellent hosts who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as pleasurable as possible, very dog friendly accommodation we stayed in with beautiful views stretching for miles. Plenty of walks on the doorstep and the scenery/views are that amazing it’s worth mentioning again!”

I was very emotional during some of these visits and Doranne Ashley was very compassionate, she didn’t rush me and made me feel very comfortable. I saw some reviews stating this vet are money orientated, I would categorically disagree with that, this has not been my experience at all.”

“Don't come to Bearsden ofter...but come when we're in Glasgow for the day. We usually just pitch up at the big coffee place on the corner. Today we see it's closed. So looking for something else we found you!! Great service...Nice busy atmosphere..and lovely menu....quite happy for us to share a sandwich. “My daughter and I stayed here for my brothers wedding and from start to finish we were made to feel welcome! The room was brilliant, loads of space and a tv in the bathroom! “Excellent stay at this practical and well-located hotel. Directly across from the Kelvin Walkway and Botanical Gardens, the hotel is midway between student dorms and the UofG, making it the perfect location for visiting the university. The staff is warm and helpful. Rooms are clean and basic, with drawers for clothing. Provided toiletries are minimal, but there’s plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Towels are surprisingly fluffy! Cons: rooms are not the most soundproofed, but the area is quiet, as is the hotel.”

Their service was extraordinary...from early check-in, to a very nice room upgrade, to the amazing wine and cheese buffet for members on Tuesday and Saturday. The staff is friendly and accommodating...everyone and I do mean everyone went out of their way to take care of my needs... The rooms are small, but efficient and for a solo traveler more than adequate...excellent hot water, and a comfy bed with nice soft pillows... and they are close to the train station which is really nice when you have heavy luggage...Highly recommend this hotel and thanks to everyone for making my stay special (did I mention you also get wine and cheese every night)”
