“We were here for our 2nd year wedding anniversary today. It was a fantastic place to eat and we really enjoyed our dinner. The atmosphere was cool and the staff were very welcoming. We got a very good portion for our dinner and it was just perfectly cooked, it was so delicious . I am looking forward to go back next week again. “Ordered 6 large Pizzas and chicken nuggets, for a 6pm pickup. I arrived at 6.02pm and the last pizza was being cut. Extremely helpful, very tasty EVERYONE enjoyed the pizza and the chicken nuggets! Definitely would return as pizzas were fresh, flavoursome and definitely would use again. Just remember cash only BUT there is a petrol station cash machine directly across the road!”

“I dropped in to Mirage this evening with the Mrs for a pint and a few starters. The place wasn't busy at all, which is a shame as the food was very tasty and keenly priced. They pour a good pint as well. Staff were really friendly and stopped to chat to us which was nice. I really hope business picks up as this is a wee gem of a restaurant. Will be back.”

“I stayed at The Abbey Inn 17/5:/25 and it was a very hot day so sat in the busy outside area and had a great afternoon whilst my room was being prepped I was out our that I couldn't get in till 3pm however as it was so lovely I had a couple of drinks and got chatting to a nice couple. It was extremely busy and I have to highly praise the fantastic staff and kitchen staff as I saw food was flying out and it looked fantastic. The atmosphere was great and the staff worked so hard. Onto the room now as I was on my own it was a single bed and though the room was small it had everything it was beautifully decorated and a fantastic large TV. Although it was very hot the room was lovely and cool and I used the fan provided which was great.. The bed was awesome just so comfortable and the bed linen just spectacular and pillows Lovely soft carpet and great tea and coffee facilities and a thing lacking in many top hotels Plenty of mirrors ladies!!! also immaculate bathroom and a great shower. I would recommend everything in the Abbey I loved it very much. Thanks so much x”

“Part one: The first time I was here (November 2022), me and my folks and I came to celebrate a birthday. I popped in earlier that day to see if they could prepare a birthday dessert plate. To say they went above and beyond is an understatement. A beautiful dessert plate that was a highlight of the evening. It was the most rememberable birthday meal. The waitress (possible manager (blonde)) was superb. I thought she was made for the job because she was attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The food was great and fresh, and there were plenty of options. The atmosphere was fantastic (top-tier music playing). The pricing is ideal and wallet friendly. No surprise, I returned again and again Part 2: I thought I could make individual reviews for each time I was here. Apparently not. Picked up an order (uber eats), and the service was quick and friendly. The food was fresh and tasty. The waitress (a young girl) was polite and fast acting. (October 2023) Part 3 : I had breakfast with the folks this morning. Got served by the charming cook/chef cause the waitress had nipped out. Dad had forgotten his glasses, as he does, so mam had started to read the menu for him, as she does. When we said he'd forgotten his glasses like usual, sure, didn't the chef pull out a pair of spare glasses and pass them over. It was the kindest, most thoughtful act, and it brought out a great laugh. Again. The food was great, and the service was so warm, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Could be the Scottish nature, but I just think all the staff are wonderful and are a credit to the service industry. I'll be back again, and I'll update this review every time. Food 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Staff/ 100/10 - the best staff in any restaurant I've ever attended. Again, it's a shame i can only review once, otherwise it'd be 3x 5 star reviews.”

“Husband ordered burger, no burger left 7pm on a Saturday night, bit disappointed however, he had chicken burger instead, I had chicken fajitas, we had pulled pork loaded fries, brownie&ice cream for desert, omg all amazing, we were served by Ben, i think, who was attentive without being intrusive, polite and an asset to the mucky duck, great example of customer service. Food was best I've had in a long time and very reasonably priced”

“Amazing dining experience at Steak Lounge & Grill! We had a fantastic visit — the steaks were cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavour. The quality of the meat really stood out, and the sauces and sides complemented everything perfectly. I was dining with my children and was really impressed with how kid-friendly the restaurant was. The staff were patient, welcoming and made us all feel comfortable, which made the experience even better. Great atmosphere, excellent service and top-quality food. Our family are big fans of Indian cuisine, and this definitely met everyone’s expectations, from the youngest to the oldest. There was a wide range of Indian dishes alongside European options, with Sunday’s special focus being a traditional Sunday Roast. The dessert selection was amazing, one of the best we’ve seen at a buffet. With a brilliant variety and three different chocolate fountains! The staff were attentive, and the entire place was spotless. Well done to the management and team! Also, if you have an upcoming birthday your meal is on the house as long as you book in advance and can prove it - great concept.”
