“We booked the cocktail making masterclass for my best friends hen do. It was a large hen booking of 32 so we decided to use home as the venue offered us a private room. The whole experience from initial emails to the big day yesterday was exceptional! Nothing was too much trouble for the events team, they were so accommodating & helpful. Price wise, ABSOLUTE BARGAIN!!!! how many places can say that they can offer a private room, cocktail masterclass including 2 cocktails, prosecco arrival, beer pong & bar games & the most delicious & plentiful buffet for under £40 per person? The whole experience truly exceeded expectations & we had a wonderful time, the bride was beyond thrilled with everything. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Having done cocktail making classes at other venues, I can say that Home hands down beat everywhere else. It was such good value for money & the food was absolutely delicious & so plentiful. I must make special mention to Katie, Daisy & Telmah. Those ladies were incredible! So professional & efficient, friendly & approachable & did a fab job of wrangling 32 hens. Nothing was too much trouble & we’re so unbelievably grateful for the outstanding service they provided. Telmah even looked after us in VIP when we returned back later in the evening & she was still as happy, attentive & professional as she was 8 hours previous when we first arrived. if you need a venue for your special occasion, Home the one to choose.”

“We came to firepit for lunch and a catch up with friends. Great venue and atmosphere for watching sport. The service was great, Hollie was our server and she was personable taking an interest in our day. We got a variety of different food, which was all delicious. I would recommend the pork dog and tacos. All round great experience.”

“Absolutely delicious food. We went to Oriental Gourmet for the first time today and we were not disappointed. Our meals of chicken garlic with fried rice, special chow mein with a side of chips and spring rolls came with a free bag of prawn crackers. Everything was 10/10 and we will definitely be back, the portion sizes were very generous too, it might have even knocked our favourite Chinese takeaway off the top spot.”

“Pretty cheap, some good prices items, only issue was all the clothes seem to be in the larger sizes! Friendly staff and plenty of space to move around. Me s section is small but loads of women clothes!”

“This is a well run pubic house with plenty of TVs to watch sport on. The staff are very friendly and the tables are always very clean. The chef needs a pat on the back as the food is always tasty and hot. A positive experience on every visit. Only thing that lets it down is the selection of draught ciders.”

“Went on Monday where it was all Christmassy & had fake snow sprayed on everyone. Was decent music, the bar staff were really nice and friendly, and 2 of the bouncers were really helpful and really good at their job - Tom and Aidan. I can’t speak highly of them enough! Would recommend.”

“Visited here yesterday for a few hours after my nephews graduation, absolutely fantastic service from Kai who was working on his own he never stopped and apologised for the wait which was fine as he was clearly busy, very friendly and knowledgeable about the cocktails on offer, hope this venture goes from strength to strength for him as he clearly has passion for the role. “I am coeliac and this is my fave takeaway atm. I've probably had from here at least a good 10 times. I usually get the chicken chow mein, but I've also had the chicken fried rice and the chicken and sweetcorn soup, so far every meal has been hot and delicious. The food comes in a timely manner (sometimes a bit longer on a weekend, but during the week it can be super quick), it comes in a good sized tub that's always filled to the brim, and is always piping hot. It's absolutely delicious. Personally I think the chicken seems a bit cheap (by flavour and esp texture) but that's probably quite normal at Chinese's 'cos they gotta cover costs, but it's still nice and the meal over all is 10/10. They always read my note and adjust my meal how I like it (less onions, more mushrooms) and it tastes sooo good. And I didn't even know I liked seaweed! Lol. But the chow mein comes with some and it's beaut! Definitely recommend Peking House :)”
