“Absolutely outstanding. I was just passing through the area and decided to try Majestic Takeaway — and I’m so glad I did. The donner kebab was one of the best I’ve had: packed with flavour, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The salad was fresh and crisp, not the usual tired stuff you get at most places. And the pizza… genuinely incredible. The name fits — it was majestic. This place has definitely earned a spot on my favourites list. Highly recommend”

“Been using Ocean for the last 25 years and honestly love the place, the food is always spot on, the lady who serves has been there as long as I can remember & she’s fabulous. Their special curry, or chicken/mushroom curry is delicious, Singapore chow mein can’t be beaten, ribs yum, sweet/sour chicken Hong Kong style is soooo good! I could go on. “Did a 30th birthday party for my son at Boom bar in hull , it was a brilliant night everyone enjoyed themselves, The manager was amazing from start to finish nothing was to much trouble he totally looked after everything we needed, they did all the food which was a lovely spread and plenty of it, and they cleared everything up to we didnt need to do anything but enjoy ourselves which is what we all did. The doorman was a total gent very nice guy so thoughtful and helpful and chatty , We would definately have another party there again cannot thank Robert the manager enough for taking all the stress off and making the night so successful. “My partner and I have been coming here since we were at college (now grown adults!) although the staff change, I would imagine due to university etc, the restaurant is always very pleasant and staff are very accommodating. The food has always been top notch and tasty. Everyone is very friendly and the atmosphere is warm, would recommend to anybody :)”

“I had the pleasure of visiting a friend who has relocated down there and before returning home I thought I would grab myself something different for the journey home after eating my weight in fish and chips all week. I wanted to try a few items and a lovely polite staff member ( I think she was called Rhiannan) who worked on Drive thru smiling even in the awful weather recommended the new deluxe box to me meaning I got to enjoy the new burrito as well as a cheeky little treat of churros. It was piping hot, the food flavours complimented each other beautifully and I got a great value for my money. I will be returning when I am next down there”

“This is a well run pubic house with plenty of TVs to watch sport on. The staff are very friendly and the tables are always very clean. The chef needs a pat on the back as the food is always tasty and hot. A positive experience on every visit. Only thing that lets it down is the selection of draught ciders.”
