“We called on Sunday on the off chance we could get some food between rugby games at the local RUFC. Greek food on a Sunday was a welcome surprise for a family who don't do the traditional carvery. Service was very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and the atmosphere from the other people made it a lovely pub to be in. They also have the best Halloween decorations I've ever seen in a pub! If we are ever over that way again, we will definitely pop in!”

We all have the hallumi cheese starter which was great, I had the chicken roast dinner which was lovely, my wife had the steak pie which she really enjoyed. “Absolutely incredible authentic Sicilian food. Amazing value for money and the mixed grill did 2 of us! The owner’s lovely mother came and spoke to us about the history of the restaurant and we felt so welcomed and at home. “This is a very nice little cafe in Beverley which serves breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas etc. They used to be in the antiques centre in Butcher Row and have moved to the new premises in Dyer Lane this year. They open till late on a Friday and Saturday nights. The food is delicious and the staff are really friendly. They have a specials board with meals of the day as well as the usual menu.”

We had a beautiful meal, and it’s conveniently close to the car park. The food was fresh and full of flavour, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit!☺️”

“Love it here very friendly and accommodating. Jacko and Jacci are very welcoming to one and all. Was back in the first evening they opened after the first lockdown, would be in more often if they go to summer opening hours this year, am only round the corner now. Jacci did a naughty when I turned 42, she told everyone it was my 40th and laid on a lovely buffet spread. Got three 40th cards that night and it made up for a 40th in lockdown then my 41st too cos we were at the dying days of the final lockdown so no bookies for the grand national”

“We visited the Lamp Room this afternoon. It was our allotment group Christmas meal. The venue was lovely and festive. The staff looked after us really well and the food was excellent. We all left feeling very full and happy. Thanks for a great experience.”
