“Went today for lunch, fab friendly staff and amazing food at very reasonable prices. I had bacon, cheese burger and was so tasty. Homemade cheese rolls and baclava are to die for. Can't recommend this place enough”

“We stayed a night after picking up a camper van. (Hence no stars for rooms - it's not applicable). The facilities are great - spacious shower cubicles and nice hot water! The site has good space between pitches and they have a black chicken who guards reception and 3 turkeys who are free ranging across the site. There are moorhens around the pond and the site is in a country location. The warden was really helpful. He lent us a kettle as we had no gas and was great, with advice and offers of help. A BIG thank you to him. Also we chatted with another staff member who was really nice and very friendly. Take aways can be delivered (we needed one as we had no gas!) - we had Indian but I believe there was also Chinese and Kebabs available. We enjoyed our meal & ate in the bar where there is TV. Shame we were only there for the night”

“Wow!! Absolutely amazing, we've tried many country pubs and none come close to the Falcon. We both had the Sunday roast and it was unbelievable, everything was hot, fresh and plenty of it, we just ran out of stomach space. We've already booked in again, but with our family this time. The staff were so nice, happy and attentive and what a great atmosphere, so glad we have tried the falcon, can't wait to be back.”

“Went for an evening meal on a Thursday, 4 of us each ordered starters, poppadoms and mains. The sauces for the poppadoms were delicious and one of them was a little bit different, a chilli jam. Very tasty. Starters we had mushroom puree, onion bhaji and fish pakora. Large portions for starters and all delicious. Mains we had a lamb roshoon, king prawn pathia and 2 chefs special curries. We shared 3 mushroom rice, 2 peshwari naan and some chips. Honestly everything was delicious and the chips were homemade. Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. They added cream to one of the special curry dishes for someone who found it a little hot. Overall great food and portion sizes, great value for money!”

“We've visited on a few occasions and every time it seems to improve. Today's meal was one of the best meals we've ever had. We've ate in top restaurants around the world but we're so lucky to have this on our doorstep. Small little restaurant with open kitchen. Great friendly staff, clean and amazing food and service. “HU6 Walking Group have regularly booked a table at Dancing Goat because of its popularity, we have turned up just for drinks and their hasn't been a table available for us, but the staff have shuffled tables and chairs around and made us feel very welcomed and no trouble at all. So, when we have agreed to eat here, we know because we are a group of around 12 people, we had better book in advance in order for the staff to arrange a space to accommodate us. The food as always is and has been faultless, so on behalf of our group, would unreservedly recommend a visit to Dancing Goat, to sample the food, drinks and hospitality. Keep up the great work.”

“I love their pho. We ordered one pho and it was good for the three of us. Then we ordered grilled pork belly with rice. The servings were big. My stomach cannot take much. And the food is flavorful. This is one of my go to places after an exhausting day at work, my comfort food. .”

“Lovely place to have an independent coffee; especially good when the sun shines so that you can do a little people watching whilst sitting outside. The inside is quite small so it is often very full but there is always the option to take the continental approach and sit outside at one of the many tables. Poma is also a great place for an icecream or two - even better that they have gluten free cones.”

“I was able to browse an excellent deli and cheese counter and there is an extensive and high quality selection of wines, beers and spirits. There is an online shop where you can get home delivery. Very handy if, like me, you couldn't carry all you wanted home with you!”
