“First time visiting & it certainly won’t be our last. Friendly, welcoming & fast service & tasty food at a reasonable price. Many thanks!”
“Couldn't of asked for a nicer experience. Food, staff and the cafe itself, for me, was perfect! Food was just like Mum used to make, home made, good portion, well presented and tasted amazing! Will definitely be going back! Full marks!”

“Had such a great time here on holiday we came back again! Lovely lady, lovely coffee, fabulous choice of ceramics and very fairly priced. Our second lot of ceramics were posted back to us and were packed well and arrived all in one piece! Would visit again next time in the area.”
“I've started getting the train every Monday morning and this little coffee kiosk makes it the highlight of my day. The tea is great and really reasonably priced, but the service is what makes this kiosk so wonderful. The man is so friendly!”
“Had the Mediterranean breakfast here. Lots of different dishes and all were perfectly cooked. Highly recommend.”
“Popped into this lovely cafe regularly when we were staying nearby, initially for the great coffees and then to tuck into a tasty and very substantial full English. Well worth a visit!”

“We tend to hunt out dog friendly places to eat. If you can manage the stairs, The Attic is well worth it. Friendly, quick service and fantastic value for money. We've only been there twice but intend to go there a lot more. The Ploughman's was great.”
“Amazing place to eat. Innovative toasties (and other things that can be cooked in a toastie maker). Friendly staff, calm yet cool atmosphere.”
“Could not fault the place in the slightest, all meals under £5. brilliant service, delicious coffee, cake and food. The place is ran extremely smoothly by such an amazing and friendly manager. Will be running back.”
“Finally found this hidden gem .. Called in today for Breakfast. The service from the staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was very well presented and freshly prepared and so very tasty. Good size portion too , and it was not expensive. The decor was clean and well decorated and we can't wait to return for the evening menu . Highly recommend this venue.”
“Just had the Big Fella breakfast. Lovely, well cooked, eggs perfect and fried bread that was just as I'd asked! Great price and polite welcoming lady serving.”
“We went for the first time yesterday as the sun was shining and wanted to stop somewhere for some lunch. We both had the salmon salad which was absolutely gorgeous and we both said we will be back again. Staff were friendly and there were some very nice bits in the shop, we were impressed overall.”

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Black Bull in East Holton, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The pub itself is charming, and I especially appreciated the dedicated restaurant area. It was quiet and peaceful, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The Christmas decorations added a lovely festive touch, making the experience even more special. Now, let's talk about the food – absolutely incredible! Every dish was freshly prepared with obvious care and attention to detail. The flavors were fantastic, and the quality of the ingredients was top-notch. It's clear that The Black Bull takes pride in serving delicious, home-cooked food. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at The Black Bull. The friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and outstanding food make it a must-visit. Whether you're looking for a festive meal or simply a delicious dinner in a welcoming pub, The Black Bull is an excellent choice.”
“Ideal garden centre as everything on trestle tables so the elderly don't have to bend down to read labels. God send. Staff very helpful too. As a driver I availed myself to a cup of cappuccino in their cafe that was served with professional and humorous attitude by Sam. Thank you”
“Just completed the RPM class today( new year's eve) with Claire...and it was brilliant, fun and really uplifting what a star this instructor is, top class, big thank you Claire have a greatnew year”
“Nice little place, eat in or take away.. I had the bacon and sausage sandwich. Was really tasty. Others had chip butties and said they were lovely. It was quiet when we 1st went in but got busier as time went on. Toilets are upstairs so no good for people with mobility issues.”
“This was a superb pub for drinking, with a lively old Tudor interior! The classic pub imagery on the walls and ceilings adds a quirkiness, counter has a compact design. I enjoyed a pint of Mango Cider, sitting at a large table with comfy seats!”
“Had my sons 6th Birthday Party here & it was brilliant. We were deligated a member of staff who oversaw the party, topped up drinks for the children, offered to do party games, very attentive. Hall size was amazing, lots of space and soft play equipment, bouncy castle was huge. Staff grouped the children together at the end of the party for a photo. Food room is a good size with plenty of selection. The chicken nuggets being the children and adults favourite. They even added chocolate bars and a free swim pass into the party bags. They even gave my son a personal birthday card which was a lovely touch with a family swim pass on the back. Overall worth the money. My only issue would be that I was only given 10 minutes before the party started to get decorations, party bags, cake etc set up & some parents had already arrived for the party. Would book again and recommend to other parents! Thank you for making my sons birthday party a memorable one!”
“This little Vietnamese restaurant is not pretentious and not over priced. The food is authentic and excellent. The restaurant is clean and the staff really are genuinely friendly. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted with a wonderful welcoming smile from the young lady. The service was wonderful and she was so helpful. What we liked most of all, is that you can watch the food you are about to eat being prepared and cooked through the glass screen. As we left all the staff wished us well and we hope to return one more time before we return to London. If we could give this restaurant ten stars we would. This restaurant is a jewel in Hull!”
“Newland Steakhouse has quickly become a family favourite! My dad is usually really picky, but both my parents absolutely love it here — which says a lot. I’ve been with friends and family, and every time it’s been incredible. The staff are so welcoming, the food is phenomenal, and the ambience is truly unmatched. You can feel the love and care that’s gone into every detail of this restaurant. A real gem!”
“Excellent customer service today in Browns, friendly, polite and staff knew their product range well, Clarins lady and the perfume counter (lady with a liverpool accent )both were lovely, approachable, knowledgable, offered other ideas when I was not sure. A lovely shopping experience !”
“One of my favourite Nero cafes in the country. I live in Hull but I like to go to Beverly for a walk and shopping. I always prefer to sit there. Quiet place, staff are really nice and coffee is perfect as always. Highly recommended.”
“My favourite stop for a coffee whilst out shopping with my Boyfriend. Great coffee, great cakes & pastries. We love it. Nice savoury items too. Dogs are welcome in Caffe Nero which is excellent.”
“We had so much fun here!! I was amazed at how well everything here has been done. The HUGE tree trunks and the high and low ropes course is ACE. You go inside and then outside on the course. I'd never done anything like this before and I loved it!! I had a go on the Big Leap too and it's scarier than it looks!! We did the Super Slide too and it was hilarious seeing everyone shoot out the bottom. We took the little ones too - by 1 yr old, then a three and five year old. They had loads of fun in the sandpit, and going in and out of the hobbit holes. The playground is good, and I can't wait for the soft play to open too. I'm sure this is going to be great for the winter months. Really impressed.”
“Lovely food, lovely service. Went during the week first thing when it was a bit quieter, I imagine the wait times at the weekend would be much longer but we weren't waiting long at all. Would definitely eat here again.”
