“This was a superb pub for drinking, with a lively old Tudor interior! The classic pub imagery on the walls and ceilings adds a quirkiness, counter has a compact design. I enjoyed a pint of Mango Cider, sitting at a large table with comfy seats!”

“We had so much fun here!! I was amazed at how well everything here has been done. The HUGE tree trunks and the high and low ropes course is ACE. You go inside and then outside on the course. I'd never done anything like this before and I loved it!! I had a go on the Big Leap too and it's scarier than it looks!! We did the Super Slide too and it was hilarious seeing everyone shoot out the bottom. We took the little ones too - by 1 yr old, then a three and five year old. They had loads of fun in the sandpit, and going in and out of the hobbit holes. The playground is good, and I can't wait for the soft play to open too. I'm sure this is going to be great for the winter months. Really impressed.”

“Newland Steakhouse has quickly become a family favourite! My dad is usually really picky, but both my parents absolutely love it here — which says a lot. I’ve been with friends and family, and every time it’s been incredible. The staff are so welcoming, the food is phenomenal, and the ambience is truly unmatched. You can feel the love and care that’s gone into every detail of this restaurant. A real gem!”

“Had my sons 6th Birthday Party here & it was brilliant. We were deligated a member of staff who oversaw the party, topped up drinks for the children, offered to do party games, very attentive. Hall size was amazing, lots of space and soft play equipment, bouncy castle was huge. Staff grouped the children together at the end of the party for a photo. Food room is a good size with plenty of selection. The chicken nuggets being the children and adults favourite. They even added chocolate bars and a free swim pass into the party bags. They even gave my son a personal birthday card which was a lovely touch with a family swim pass on the back. Overall worth the money. My only issue would be that I was only given 10 minutes before the party started to get decorations, party bags, cake etc set up & some parents had already arrived for the party. Would book again and recommend to other parents! Thank you for making my sons birthday party a memorable one!”

“We did not book and just walked in having been turned away from a Thai restaurant in Scarborough who would only accept cash payment. I had heard good reviews for this establishment and so it was an ideal time to give it a go and we were not disappointed . The food was tasty and the meat used in the dishes was very tender especially the beef. We chose the banquet meal for two and the sharing starter platter was excellent and was a meal in itself followed by 3 main courses with rice and noodles! We finished the chicken and beef dishes but had to leave some of the very plentiful duck dish. There is just the one chef so I would imagine when it's very busy one would have to wait a while but it's well worth the wait. We did not need a breakfast the next morning and we both felt very well afterwards possibly due to the fresh ingredients and the plentiful supply of ginger in some of the dishes. We had the privilege of meeting and speaking to the female chef/owner afterwards and she was very nice and she is very hard working. We will return in the not too distant future.”

“One of my favourite Nero cafes in the country. I live in Hull but I like to go to Beverly for a walk and shopping. I always prefer to sit there. Quiet place, staff are really nice and coffee is perfect as always. Highly recommended.”

“Found this cafe after walking our dogs near by and googling 'dog friendly cafes near me'. Plenty of parking and an outside space which was great as although the whole cafe is dog friendly, our doberman can be a clumsy oaf if he gets excited so we try and minimise this if we can. We had coffee and cheesecake which was delicious. Thank you!”

“As always, good varied assortment of hand crafted drinks available, pleasant surroundings with good service. Always a treat to sit and enjoy good coffee whilst meeting friends. New drinks added on a regular basis giving that extra choice. What let's down these outlets is the breakdown of the dishwashers, it's not the same drinking out of takeaway cups, spoils the enjoyment altogether, perhaps they should install two dishwashers or have a better repair service.”
