“The atmosphere is very friendly warm and welcoming. I found our server to be delightfully eccentric, but incredibly warm and I could see how people would want to return again, even if it was just for the warm atmosphere. I would describe the food as homely. Very comforting and tasty. Not food that shows off, but definitely food that leaves you feeling full and content. Very happy we decided to visit today and hoping to make this a regular in our restaurant rotations.”

“Honestly, it's one of the best Chinese I've ever had! Super tasty and authentic food, not too greasy and packed with flavour. Would definitely recommend the 'Chinese tea'. Only issue is that the portions were huge, so bring a good appetite!”

“This is an excellent local takeaway, and deservedly very popular. I have used this takeaway over many years. The staff are very friendly and efficient. There is an extensive and varied menu. The food is excellent and good value for money. The chips are so much nicer than any of the big chain burger and chicken joints. They are always hot and you get twice as much for less money. I took this place for granted, I didn't realize how good it was until I went to some of the well known High Street fast food places. Spring cottage beats them all hands down.”

“Just found this Italian bakery. Bread at its best and lots of other good things to eat. Not low on calories but who's counting when its so delicious. Favourite is Olive bread, just with butter or oil. Just moved nearby so will be shopping there regularly.”

“Went out for a walk and a bite for dinner. Found the ordering stands easy to use and order, with plenty of choices. OG Kebab Meal, Flaming Fries, Garlic Signature Pot along with a Cold Fanta. Perfect evening walk with excellent mix of spices working together with the fanta. Thanks to the staff behind the line for the well made food and a personal thanks to Olivr for his great service! “On a nice Thursday evening in Hull we headed to a favourite spot of ours, Humber Street. We have been to Bert’s Pizza restaurant in Hull many times and had various degrees of success, but this was our first visit to Bert’s Pasta. It was amazing! We were welcomed by Jake and shown to a table with great views of Humber Street and the Marina. A bottle of house Red followed along with some house Rosé and we were left to read through the menu. A great variety of dishes on offer meant we took our time deciding but eventually ordered 1 Burrata & 1 Beetroot Carpaccio to start. This was followed by 1 Tagliatelle Alfredo, 1 Beef Pappardelle & 1 Tuscan Chicken Pappardelle along with sides of 1 Broccolini & a portion of Parmesan & Rosemary fries. To dust this all off we had 3 portions of Tiramisu. The flavours in these dishes were amazing and we will definitely be back the next time we visit Hull. Jake was very welcoming, friendly and efficient, thank you.”

“Partner had the burger and I had the lobster ravioli asked them for less chilli as the first time I had it, the chilli was overpowering the dish. They had to remake but sorted it quickly and efficiently. Cat our server was great, very attentive. Will be visiting again soon.”

Staff were so friendly and attentive, chatting to my daughter about managing to eat a whole foot-long!! Very clean and tidy too, always a bonus. “Very enjoyable experience for International Breakfast Buffet at Soju. Everything was fresh, delicious and served quickly. The staffs were polite, the place is spacious and clean, which is quite refreshing compared to many much smaller similar restaurants. Overall still happy and would definitely come back.”

“Best pizza in the area! We can tell the pizzas are made from fresh, good quality ingredients and baked beautifully in a proper stone pizza oven (the crust is on the thin side and crispy). All the different toppings we have had are beautiful, fresh and tasty. The staff are very friendly and professional. We have plenty of pizza takeaways to choose from where we live, but happily travel 20 minutes to get a GOOD pizza. (My partner reacts badly to low quality pizza dough and has NEVER had a problem here. The dough here is fresh and bakes beautifully. Our little girl with sensory issues loves the pizza from here, it's one of very few meals that she actually really loves and gets excited about.) Thanks Dolce Vita! Pls don't go anywhere!”
