“My dad popped in to buy some hinges recently, the owner of the business kindly game him some hinges and wouldn’t take payment. Unfortunately my dad couldn’t fit the hinges. Again without charge, the owner arranged for one of his fitters to call to his house and fit them for him. Fantastic service. Thank you!”

“I can’t recommend these enough hand on heart couple of most honest people I’ve ever met. I’ve gone in with a dryer heating element thermostat fault query expecting to have to buy a brand-new element for over 30 quid, but instead was shown a secret Hotpoint hack for resetting one of the thermostats and fixing the fault. “This is a great place for a relaxed coffee or lunch. We found the coffee and food really good and the service excellent. My husband is in an electric wheelchair but despite the journey through the store and up in the lift, access was ok and the staff eager to find us a good spot in the cafe. Original, wholesome and relaxing coffee spot. We’re holidaying between Harrogate and York again and we will visit this place several times…. Just off there now in fact!”
