“Great wee pub good prices local atmosphere. Worth a visit. Great outdoor space.”
“An absolutely little gem in Walton! It’s the most child friendly cafe that I’ve ever visited and couldn’t cater anymore to our little ones. Even better than the food is delicious too and it’s over the road from a lovely little park. We come here regularly and my little boy is always asking for the waffles. It’s really rare to find places that’s are inclusive for children, so thank you so much for always making mine feel welcome!”
“Very friendly old school builders cafe, lovely food & exceptional value, Highly recommend.”
“Great place to eat. Great staff. Food is the best in Wakefield without a doubt. Keep up the good work guys”
“Proper stacked brownies and blondies. I challenge anyone to buy a box of tray bakes, on a Friday, thinking they'll save them to eat over the weekend. It's almost impossible.”
“The antipasto sandwich is one of my favourite all time sandwiches. Coffee is incredible, prices are reasonable, all round a great spot for lunch”
“A traditional old boozer which regrettably has its lease up for sale. 6 cask ales on including the fantastic Oakham Citra which appears to be a regular. Gents toilets down some steep steps in the cellar. Great view of the cathedral from the back door.”
“Great local pub Lovely staff and fab atmosphere Beer garden that’s got loads of room and seating Monday night is pie night and it really good food Tuesday night is quiz night with raffle and a prizes Gets very busy with a great atmosphere”
“Excellent quality food and fantastic service. All the meats were excellent and the staff kept bringing more. There’s a pleasant self-service salad/buffet bar too. It was basically empty on our afternoon visit so we got excellent personal service and everything cooked specifically for us. The minted lamb was my personal favourite. We will be back.”
“Well, what can I say about this place. Nothing as there are no words that can describe it. No.seriously. :-) The food is outstanding, and the service is second to none from the minute you walk through the door until you leave. I left SA 31 years ago and have struggled to find anywhere that can cook a steak like I get there until now. The photos don't do this place justice. 12/10”
“On arrival the landlord gave me a guided tour. Really nice regulars in a comfy setting, log fired in the winter months with a good selection of beers to choose from. There are live bands entertaining during each month with tastes for all kinds of music. Nice start to the night when visiting Ropergate or a snug afternoon tipple, definitely one to go to!”
“Lovely little cafe, good selection of food and very friendly staff. Have been in multiple times and always left happy”
“What a lovely independent coffee shop. Lovely friendly staff, who were so cheerful and warm. Coffee was excellent. Cheese and Ham Toastie was superb, generous with the ingredients. Cakes looked amazing. The place was really busy, while the chain coffee shop next door was empty! Spotless toilets! Outside seating too. Right next to the Cathedral.”
“Great bar, locals love it. Super friendly. It has a good range of ever-changing cask beers. Late opening. I visited 3 times in 4 nights. (I've no idea about food here, but Google needs a score, hence middle.)”
“First time we've been to this newly refreshed pub and it's Excellent. Friendly staff and good prices.”
“Lovely view from balcony at the back, not many places you can sit outside and have a beer with this view !”
“I really enjoy going to this pub staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing. Enjoy going on the pool table there too”
“It may be an Italian in a small village but the food , service and atmosphere is one that belongs in a Michelin Star restaurant. Ameer works front of house and when needs is also a dab hand in the kitchen . His staff whilst local and young are all friendly and it’s great to see a local restaurant employing local staff . The Italian Chef Pepe is amazing and between my fiancé and I we have had the whole menu from salads to steaks , pasta to sorbet and the food is always delicious and exceptional and exceptional value for money . I cannot wait to fetch 40 something of my friends for my Hen Do and introduce them all to the best hidden Italian gem in the county . You were the best find 4 years ago and will continue to be our place to go for special occasions or just like tonight Bob in for tea after a busy weekend.”
“One of the best pubs in Wakefield. Great hosts with some great local people. Never fail to have a really good time in the Graziers and so thankful to have this on my doorstep. Blonde barmaid is pretty hot too, think she’s the landlady :)”
“Well for a start, you carn’t go wrong calling this pub the little bull. Every window has a blue bull printed on it. At the front of pub is a big blue bull printed on it. The entrance door is blue. The window blinds are blue. Inside the decoris blue. They took out the two log open fires. They took away all the bar stools. Theirs a bandit gambling slot money machine standing at the bar now. Bandit gambling mchines in the pool table room. I got half glass of sparkling cider. I gave a ten pound note to the bar tender. He was busy and looking and talking to his next customer. I had my change nearly thrown at my hand and missed. I was not impressed. I visited the pub a few months ago. I got a pint of John smiths bitter. I took the glass of John smiths outside and sat on the new bench. I was waiting for my bus. The bustop right outside the little bull. My bus came before I had time to drink my John smiths. I got on the bus with my pint of John smiths in my coat pocket. The bus driver did not see me. The manager of the little bull was watching everything. He saw me getting on the bus with a pint glass of John smiths. I was unaware of this. I didn’t mean to do it. I wasn’t thinking straight. Next time I went in the little bull. The manager was ready for me. He said I should be barred. He served me a drink. I have since on my eBay. Bought the manager of the little bull. Pint glass of John smiths. Costing me £8.50.I have it right now and I’m taking the glass down to the little bull today at 2pm. They do not serve cooked food. Or even a cold sandwich. Just crisps and nuts. Round the back of the blue little bull. They have took away all the garden furniture and umbrella shades. All the swings and slide have gone. Their is a couple of benches with no umbrella shades. Thanks for the read.”
“I've walked by Bailey's lots of times as my mechanic is nearby. Popped in for a breakfast sandwich today and was pleasantly surprised. Much bigger than it looks from the outside and a very generous delicious sandwich was handed to me at decent price. Definitely be back to try some more from the massive menu”
“Competitive prices and a good atmosphere. There is a large beer garden there too which is perfect on those sunny days. The owners have done a great job at turning this place around and keeping trouble away.”
“Have started popping in here with our dogs, very friendly and lovely atmosphere.”
“Saved my life during the birth of my child at the hospital next door with a 4 day induction of labour. Excellent sandwich. I don't know if it was sleep deprivation or what but the brown sauce will always live in my memory (I reckon it was just daddies).”
“Very lovely little pub with amazing staff on bar. Great place to have so local!”
“Apparently Google would like me to update my review. Can I do six stars? Best bar in Wakefield, only one even close is The George and Crown. Go to either of these places, you will not be disappointed”
“Arguably the best spot for your healthier takeaway in Wakefield - peri chicken is out of this world”
“ABSOLUTELY EXCEPTIONAL! And a great price list! I’m a very fussy eater! Tried every cafe in hemsworth and didn’t like any of them then I found this little gem! The food is amazing! The meat is top quality and the lady’s that run the cart are so lovely and accommodating. I’ll be a loyal customer for life now! I 100% would recommend this place!”
“Popped into wakefield for a change. You couldn't find a better place to unwind with the best mocha ive ever had. Ham and cheese paninis are amazing.”
“I've never actually been in but I was once ketted off my face dancing to Night Boat to Cairo outside so gets a 10/10 from me”
