Great cozy quiet atmosphere especially if you are working or studying. Nice friendly staff and always welcoming you with a smile. The man cutting his hairs was so patient and kind and did everything that he could to make the experience as pleasant as possible. Dispite the fact that my son wouldn't sit still, the man made an excellent job of my son's hair. I would definitely recommend using this barbers.”

Exceptional service Emma and Andy. Not only was he treated with patience and kindness, they went above and beyond to make a difficult time just that little bit easier. When staff offer to personally deliver the suit on their way home from work, you know that customer service is a top priority for this company. Everything was provided to ensure my neighbour looked his best for an important day. They even gifted him the cufflinks he took a fancy to on the day. Well done team Frank Bird for looking after him. “A big shout out for Tom for the support he gave us when we visited Everyman in York today. We are still adjusting to life in a wheelchair so were disappointed to find that there is no lift access to theatre one on the first floor. Tom patiently helped us negotiate the stairs and ensured that we were safely seated. His kindness and generosity contributed significantly to an enjoyable day out. That said, surely there should at least be a stair lift installed. Planning regulations were given as the reason for inadequate access provision but surely the Local Authority could be supporting the building owners to find a solution which respects the historic building whilst upholding York’s commitment to inclusivity.”

I'm usually very anxious when I go to a hair salon but James made me feel at ease immediately, he was friendly and professional and even offering guidance on products that I could use on my hair to help it have more texture. I also really liked how he offered his professional opinion such as adding light layers, it's always nice when I have no idea what could look nice on myself but James was able to give his professional opinion and make me look way nicer than when I came into the salon. When I left, I couldn't stop looking at my reflection in all the shop mirrors I was passing by, I'm surprised I didn't walk into a pole! Overall the service was fantastic and I'm so happy with my hair, I'll certainly be back again! Thank you again James!”
