Went this time to buy two shopping trolleys for doing our shopping, as not able to carry bags very well, but can pull a trolley. Very well made and did what it said on the tin, robust and not bad for £9.99 each. Everyone friendly and helpful.”

I was met by Shellie who immediately knew what size I was, there was a lot of choice but narrowed it down to 4 styles with Shellies help. “My friend and I booked out 30th party here in the function/games area and it could not have been better! We were well looked after by all the staff, especially Amy, Annabelle and Ollie the manager was extra attentive to any questions or needs we had on the night. From fast and friendly service to sorting out the music for the venue for us, it was fab. The food for the buffet was delicious, some of our guests commented on how lovely it was presented, tasted, and the variety. The DJ that came on at 10pm also took song requests meaning it was more of a special night for us. The games were a great add on to our event and just overall a fun venue. It was clean and a perfect sized space for our event. Special thanks to Louise, the events manager, she was very responsive to emails and brilliantly helpful for the organisation of our event and when meeting her she was also very welcoming, friendly and gave us amazing offers. “What a little gem! I didn't know this place existed until I was googling things to do. I took my 2 children aged 9 & 2 and they both had the most amazing day, as did I. The tropical house has so much to see and is far bigger than I ever expected. The only negative I have to mention is a lot of the glass in the tanks is quite dirty so it can be hard to see the fish but I imagine this isn't an easy job to clean. This aside, we loved everything about it and will definitely be back. The price is brilliant and even better if you have a max card, 1 adult goes free and under 3's are free too! We ate in the cafe and food was freshly prepared and tasty, price wise I don't think it was too bad for what you got. Lots of space to eat and you can enjoy your own food in the outside picnic area! We will definitely visit again.”

“Gorgeous little coffee shop right near the Shambles Market, and the perfect place to escape a cold York afternoon and warm yourself with a hot beverage. The Bailey's hot chocolate really hit the spot, and my partner really enjoyed his bacon and brie toastie. The vibe is cosy and perfect for parties of 2, but seating is limited at lunchtime, especially for parties any larger than 4. Many parties of 3 or more were getting turned away or split over multiple tables.”

“We had a fantastic experience when visiting Furniture Village at Birstall, Leeds. There was a huge selection of sofas and the showroom was set out really nicely with room displays. The Sales Consultant Matthew left us to browse without pestering us and when we were ready to make a purchase he was really helpful and friendly. The prices were reasonable and cheaper than we have found elsewhere,. Also free coffee machine and cookies which was a nice bonus! Overall very happy!”

“Stunning! My friend and I drove here for a day out (interior decor nerds) from Liverpool and it didn’t disappoint. The one thing I will say is that we had expected there to be a bit more design but it’s really more or less exclusively furnishings. Would have LOVED some kitchen/bathroom/tile shops (but that may very well be our bad for not Googling beforehand, hence it hasn’t lowered the score). Overall the entire place is stunning, the staff were very helpful, informed and friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you’re into decoration/design or need inspiration for a reno!!”
