“We got married at Wentbridge in August, and we honestly couldn’t recommend this venue highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were struck not only by the beauty of the country house itself, with its charming character and stunning gardens, but also by the exceptional service delivered by every member of the team. The staff truly provide a 5-star experience. They were professional, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process. Many of our guests even went out of their way to tell us how wonderful the staff were on the day. As a same-sex couple, one of the biggest reasons we chose Wentbridge was because we were treated with complete warmth and equality from the very start. We always felt valued, respected, and celebrated, never “different”, and that meant the world to us. The food was another major highlight. There were plenty of options and the team were so flexible in tailoring everything to what we wanted. We chose afternoon tea for our wedding breakfast, and it went down brilliantly with our guests, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. A real luxury touch! Wentbridge is a perfect all rounder wedding venue. With family travelling from all over, having plenty of rooms on-site was ideal, and the variety of spaces throughout the hotel created a natural, enjoyable flow to the day. We were able to make the most of both the indoor and outdoor areas, giving us the best of both worlds. A special thank you to Chloe, Ellie, and Karen, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their support made the whole experience feel seamless. Our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more, and Wentbridge House played a huge part in that. “Not used the rooms but the food either dinner time or evening are always done as requested. And the Sunday roasts are even better cannot fault the place .from the owners to the bar staff ..i don't go anywhere else for meal's as this is a perfect location to where I live .highly recommend”

“I recently stayed at Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel and had a wonderful experience. I was absolutely delighted to find my suite beautifully decorated for Christmas—it made the stay feel so festive and special. ​The service was excellent throughout my visit. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and welcoming. I have to give a special mention to the team for their help with room service; nothing was too much trouble for them. All of the food was enjoyable and a special mention to the assistant manager Molly who who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was extremely friendly and welcoming and provided an excellent service. We will definitely be returning.”

“We visited the tui Pontefract store for some ideas for a wedding package abroad for me and my fiancé and we wasn’t disappointed. We was looking at the brochures and had no clue what would be the best package was for us. I want to thank one of the girls in the store Kim for the idea she gave us and advice about what deals would be best for us. Highly recommended the store and the staff and most of all Kim amazing work thank you. We will be definitely returning and using Kim again x”

“First time we have used elmsall kennels and I can say will definitely use them again. Mabel our 2 year labrador was a little nervous but she is of most people to begin with . But they put my mind at ease straite away with how genuinely caring they where with her. We picked her up two weeks later and mabel was fine well cared for not just left in a cage till we came back . She was walked twice a day compared to the previous one last year that she stayed in . So basically if you love your dog or cat I would highly recommend elmsall kennels and cattery. 10/10”

“Samantha Johnson is an absolute credit to this company and she deserves some recognition for how amazing her customer sevice is. I ended up in a rather tricky situation which Sam has massively helped me get out of by securing me a beautiful rental, back in the village I moved from in November. At the beginning, I spammed her like crazy to prove I'm a trustworthy tenant and there was absolutely no need to. Sam was very kind, genuine and fast with her approach to my situation. I had the viewing on Wednesday morning, confirmed I'd got the house on Wednesday afternoon, paid in full on Thursday morning and got the keys Thursday evening. I'm hoping to be moved in this weekend. Sam genuinely went above and beyond, I've apologised profusely for spamming her to which she has said I didn't need to apologise, and i appreciate her support and caring manner more than she will ever know. You're amazing Sam, thank you so so much!”
