Hotel in Selby

“We dropped in on Wednesday and parked up on large level carpark. We were welcome to stay in our motorhome overnight. The menu for the evening was carvery and desert. My wife had vegetarian option with vegetables and vegetarian gravy. My meat was very good and we both throughly enjoyed our meals. The freindly service was excellent in a pleasant old style public house.”

“We use the Leeds East hotel regularly but our visit this weekend was a really great experience. Young man on reception was very welcoming and professional. A special mention to the lady who put some treats in my daughters room as she heard it was my granddaughters 2nd birthday. What a lovely touch. And finally the lady in the breakfast room who was so lovely with my young granddaughters giving them a chocolate biscuit and a balloon each. This service was really welcomed so thankyou all and apologies I didn’t get names of the people who really made a difference.”

“We absolutely love this kennel! Our dog Dexter always comes back happy, healthy, and well cared for. The staff are kind, professional, and clearly love animals. It gives us peace of mind knowing that Dexter is in such good hands while we're away. We wouldn't take him anywhere else. Highly recommended!”

“Excellent place to stay for quiet and to be honest it's why we went. The carriage has everything needed for a comfy and pleasant stay and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. Skipwith common was excellent for the dog. Loved the place and will return. It should go without saying but you will need a car if you intend on going to towns and villages. Can't speak highly enough of Skipwith Station, book it.”

“Have been going here twice a year since before COVID, the leaflet really does not do it justice. Rod and Peggy cannot do enough for you. You only have to ask. I am a wheelchair user and there is plenty of room for me to move around. I also do craft stuff, so if my husband wants to do something I can stay in and he can go where he wants. I cannot recommend this place enough, nor the amenities, and York is not that far away, and the Designer Outlet is even closer. You will also fine the Park and Ride here and use this bus into York saves all the hassle of driving around Looking for car parking.”

“I have been into the Selby TUI store a few times to book my family holidays and I always ask for Vicky as she is an absolute superstar! She lights up the room and gets just as excited as we did for our holiday! She is very knowledgeable and went through everything from airport parking to holiday insurance. We have nothing else left to do before our holiday! We’re very confident our next holiday will be amazing just like the others we’ve had with TUI! Thanks again Vicky :)”

“We had stayed in 4 hotels that week while on our travels and the room was by far the most well maintained and clean. The value for money was excellent..staff were polite and friendly. It was great having single beds for the two children in the family room. Thank you.”

“Had a great 2 day stay , the management were so helpful and generous when we had to unexpectedly change our reservation. The family room we stayed in was great, plenty of room , clean and a nice en-suite. The cooked breakfast was made to order so nice and fresh , with cereals , toast and other items were all on hand for you to help yourself . Free guest parking at the back of the property. We will definitely be booking again when we come up to Yorkshire.”

“We went to the Wishing Well today for my 70th birthday that my daughter had booked. 17 adults,3 children and a baby. I was a bit apprehensive as I’d read some of the reviews about not having certain things The food not been up to scratch - greasy chips ect. All I can say is our food was perfectly fine. Considering that there was a list of different food ordered everyone enjoyed their meal. The girl on the bar serving us was very busy as she was on her own serving all 20 drinks. She really worked her socks off.and was pleasant all the time. She even helped serve out food when it was ready . Later on She even brought out my birthday cake Will be be going back”
