“It was my First time here after i hear ld a lot about this place, i decided to finally pay them a visit not as a business owner but as a customer We ordered two turkeys breakfast, it was absolutely delicious, it gives you a real Turkish experience, i had it before in Turkey and it looks exactly same. We offer a Kurdish mix breakfast which is a bit different so i liked it and the good thing that the staff informed us that we can refill the tea as much as we want and also they offered us a free bread with it after we finished our bread, The honey butter,flower jam was the best i have ever had. The lady staff was nice and welcoming. I highly recommended and wishing you all the best from Mood Cafe team”

“John-Taylor Bedrooms, having been recommended to us by a local contractor, installed wardrobes in two bedrooms for us. The fittings in one room were new but in the other, existing robes were re-positioned from a dressing room. Originally these had been without doors but Les from John-Taylor Bedrooms was able to source doors which were such a good match to the fittings. Les paid us three site visits beforehand and took the time to discuss our needs and preferences and to show us an extensive range of samples. Communication was excellent throughout and the timing of both jobs were as predicted. The fitters, who worked non-stop to complete the work within the agreed timelines, were very pleasant, easy to deal with and worked tidily. Overall we are delighted with the service and work provided by John-Taylor Bedrooms and feel this has been money well spent.”

“Neji was clearly passionate about the products that Hammonds sell. As soon as we entered he left his desk to greet us and gave us a guided tour of the fitted furniture that was on display. He was thorough and informative without being overbearing. Though we don't have the funds to buy from Hammonds yet we know that we will be coming back after the fantastic customer service we received.”

“Was just passing by and grabbed some lunch on the go, I went for the boneless jerk chicken box with rice and salad with a piece of carrot cake. The salad was a 10/10 everything was so fresh and included a lot more than I expected.. potatoes, olives, pasta, peppers. The rice peas and chicken was amazing and also had lots of nice sauces to choose from. If I was from Bradford this is somewhere I’d be visiting a lot more. Customer service was great to”

“When I came to York to meet my overseas friend, we had actually passed this place. Since then, I've often wondered what it was like. So, seeing as I was spending the day in York, I decided to take a walk to Gatehouse Coffee and try it out. Although it's not an overly big place, it's very quirky and worth a visit! There's some chairs inside, and then a number of tables and chairs outside, which is great when the weather is nice. The lady who served me was super pleasant, as was the two chaps in there too! Was nice to sit outside and relax for a while with a cappuccino. Would definitely come back here again, and a great stop-off if you're walking the York City Walls!”

“We visit Al's every four weeks. Al & his partner are always friendly. Their shop is immaculately clean. The stock is reasonably priced and changes frequently. Antique books, furniture and collectables are the main items on offer. Part of the Piece Hall in Halifax, I can't think of a better shop in the whole town!”

“I'd booked a 60th birthday for 13 of us. We were in a separate room which was great so we didnt feel like we were disturbing any other diners although the room was open to the bar so we didnt feel cut off from the rest of the restaurant. The staff were great and looked after us really well. Food was good and we were all served at virtually the same time, which doesn't always happen with large parties. Will definitely be back”

“We hadn’t been to Devour for a while and decided to go as a Friday night treat — it was just lovely. Such a nice atmosphere in both the bar and restaurant. The lighting and music were spot on — calm, relaxed and easy to chat without any distractions. The team were friendly and attentive, drinks and wine were great, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was beautifully presented, with so much care in the details — the crockery, glassware, table settings, and the gorgeous autumnal flower displays in the windows. It’s tough for hospitality at the moment, but Devour have created something really special and clearly work hard to keep it that way. Every part of it feels cared for — from the bar and restaurant to the garden and even the car park, which is neat, tidy and beautifully lit. We spent around £60 per person including cocktails, starters, a large sharing main with sides, wine, and a shared dessert — good value for the quality and experience. Everything about it just feels considered and done with pride. Definitely worth a visit if you’re after a relaxed but special evening out.”

The mains were also really well prepared and all tasted delicious and full of flavour. The staff are efficient and friendly.
