“I use the Starbucks in Leeds Trinity University and the coffee is great. The girls both make delicious drinks and are very friendly. I enjoy coming here. I always use a reusable cup which saves me money too!”

“If I could give 100/10 for service, it wouldn’t be enough. Unfortunately I didn’t catch the name of the wonderful gentleman who provided me with my sandwich and cup of tea today but I’d love to thank him again for his joyful attitude and service. What an absolute delight he is— Smiling woman”

    The Apothecary Tea Rooms

“We did a day trip over to Haworth and was browsing the shop next door when the lovely owner told us about his cafe and advised child friendly. We say outside and a lovely day. Good choice of menu although no poached eggs as requested but I had a bacon roll which was lovely, we had chips, scrambled eggs on toast and a couple of hot drinks. All very nice. The owner was super nice and chatty. Inside was a lovely quaint tea room with gorgeous view. Toilets were very clean with plenty of toilet roll. Great spot and we were happy with our experience.”

“A bit confused by some of the reviews as I’ve never once had a bad experience in this shop and I’m in everyday. All staff have been nothing but polite and friendly. They ask how I am and smile at me and it’s so lovely to feel recognised. Such a handy shop to have nearby.”

    Healey House Hotel

“I stayed at this hotel for one night as a lone traveller and my dog. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms and hotels were cleaned to a high standard. The stay was made by meeting Dawn, she was so warm, friendly and welcoming and made me feel safe and looked after since I was on my own. She literally couldn't have done any more to help me and my dog out. Thank you so much for the giggles too.”

    Urban House

    ★★★☆☆ 3

“The bad reviews on this are absolutely laughable, offering non UK residents accommodation and shelter for free and residents have the audacity to complain that it’s the worst place in the world due to cold water and because they had no milk, talk about ungratefulness of the highest level. The people who run this place probably operate on peanuts. If it’s not up to your standard you’d be more than welcome to check into a premier inn.”

“Visited on a Sunday. Very busy. Just made it in time before queues got longer. Car park was heaving. A great band played christmas carols outside to welcome the customers. Enjoyed a great cappucino & fresh cream scone. Cake was big enough to to share. The staff were helpful & courteous. Will definitely visit again.”

“First time here in a long while. Came with my 2 year old daughter to see the ducks and decided to have a drink. Nice and clean place with lots of well space seating inside and out. Lady who served me was very nice and helpful. Decided to let my daughter use the soft play area which was very reasonable at £1 and did a great job of keeping her entertained. Did not try the hot food but we will be when we return the monday after. When speaking to the lady she mentioned carvery on wednesday and sunday which sounded great and yet again seemed to be a good price at around just under £6 i think she said. I think it's mine and my daughters new favourite place on a monday as its nice and quiet and lovely when weathers good and we like the ducks. On the whole a nice and clean spacious enviroment that offers food (yet to try) a nice play area for the children and somewhere you can relax all run by helpful and friendly staff.”
