“This is not a 5 star hotel but for the price I honestly don’t think you can beat the service of the staff (they were incredibly accommodating, engaging, and strived to make the time efficient and enjoyable). The food was adequate for dinner and breakfast was more then we were anticipating. Again, it isn’t the ritz, but we just kept commenting to each other, dang, this place is clean, organized and more than we would expect for the price. Well done!”

“We came for the sleigh ride and wow, what an experience for our four year old son (and us!). The whole set up was so well organised. It looked fantastic and such lovely little details throughout (the passport stamps, the hydraulics on the sleigh etc). Santa was brilliant and the toy shop was amazing for the kids to choose what they wanted. The whole place was really well laid out, decorated and very tidy. The toilets were spotless and the food and drink prices were very reasonable. However what really made it was all the staff. “Would never use a different suit shop. The customer service here is outstanding. Visited here twice in the last 6 months and both times being so impressed with the help we received in store, totally takes the hassle out of a potentially very stressful situation of finding the right suit LOL!! “Our son attended playgroup and he absolutely loved it. Every day he ran in no problem, often too excited to take his bag and say bye to us! He spoke about the staff a lot which was lovely, saying they were his friends and that he wanted to work there when he was older. Often on a weekend he would ask to go see them. The setting is perfect for little ones to develop, indoor play with all different stations, crafts, reading area etc. a playground with play huts, sandpit, bikes etc. A woodland area with all sorts of outdoor activities. Access to the sports fields where they do fitness and sports. The orchard and woods where they do forest school. There really is so much for them to do. Since starting at playgroup he has gained so much confidence and made loads of friends. Most of which are going to Bishopthorpe Infant School. This meant when he attended taster sessions his friends were there and they were all excited to go to big school. Attending playgroup has given him the best possible start for school. Thank you for being amazing :)”
