“11 family members ate there yesterday, in memory of my dad. Service and food outstanding. We all had different meals, xl mixed grill for me. Not a steak eater but was well done perfectly. All meals served at the same time. We keft nothing. Fair price forvit all with Blue Light Discount. Excellent and highly recomnended. We will visit again. Update: Another family meal yesterday 16 of us. Once again service was really quick and the food was excellent. Nothing wasted. Put all tables together to accommodate us all. Compliments again to the manager and staff.”

“Second time ordering from Genos and I have to say the food has been amazing. Chicken kebab and Donner kebab with chips. The chicken was juicy, tender and sooo tasty. Donner meat was thinly sliced just how we like it and the meal portions are very generous portion. The salad was very fresh and the bread wraps and chips were lovely. We honestly couldn't fault anything. 10/10”

“Some years since I have visited this pub. Superb service from Ben the manager and the lovely Ann. Service just how it should be. Drinks are excellent at reasonable prices. We all had food. The fish and chips and the scampi and chips with mushy peas were excellent and great value for money. A great well run pub - cannot fault it. Toilets were spotlessly clean and also the Ship is really dog friendly so ideal to visit after a picturesque walk along Sankey Valley to Carr Mill dam. Will definitely be visiting again very soon.”
