“After the demise of the great Happy Valley in Aspull, we were left searching for good "non standard" Chinese takeaway. Then we found Lams in Arlington. Which sadly closed in January. Again leaving in search of the holy grail. It's about a 12-13 min drive to the golden dragon, so not exactly local but we have no good options anymore around Blackrod. I tried this place because of the good reviews on Google. I can honestly say this place is amazing. It has competitive pricing and everything was really good quality. Also the portion sizes were really large. We had the fried combo starter, which was really good. Beef satay, fried rice, chips and crackers. Was absolutely phenomenal. We found our new non-local, local takeout. Highly recommend.”

“I had an amazing time at Renshaw Street Food Market! The variety of food options is fantastic, and the atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Katsu Curry Fried Rice from the Rice and Noodles shop, and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly crispy, the curry sauce was rich and flavorful, and the fried rice complemented the dish so well. It was definitely worth the money—great portion size and incredible taste! The overall ambiance of the market was lively and enjoyable, making it a perfect spot to enjoy good food. Highly recommend visiting, and I’ll definitely be back to try more!”

“We were looking for a Chinese and found Hong Liang. Just note they ONLY TAKE CASH, so take some. They are very reasonable and the food was amazing and big portions.....the ladies were absolutely lovely too. Absolutely go here as you won’t be disappointed. We had mixed curry with salt & pepper chips, salt & pepper chicken, special chop suey and sweet and sour chicken. Stunning! Absolute recommend it”

“Me and my step dad were staying in the hotel next door while my mum was having surgery in Walton. We came in for a coffee and got chatting to the lovely staff and they mentioned 10% off if we were staying at the hotel. So the next day we came for a breakfast and iv got to say it was DELICIOUS. We both thoroughly enjoyed it, it was hot, tasty and plenty of it. The sausages were absolutely beautiful! The girls here are so lovely, really nice and chatty and lifted our spirits after a bit of a tough time worrying about my mum. Would definitely come again. The 10% off was a lovely bonus too, every penny counts!”

“Local chip shop serving a variety of meals. Always great tasty food. Staff are very friendly and helpful. My personal faves are the shredded crispy chili beef, char sui mushroom, ribs, salt n pepper chicken and the chicken kebabs. They also have the best chips too :)”

The food was delicious and fresh. The prawn toast was one of the best I've ever had. Stuffed with real king prawns and not the mushy stuff you often get. Would also recommend the crispy chilli beef which was a delight. We will be back”

“Ordered a delivery on a Sunday evening, was delivered very promptly indeed. Cash on delivery or payment by bank transfer, no cards accepted. We had Salt and Chilli Wings, Prawn Toast and Yung Chow Fried Rice. All dishes were very nice indeed!”

“Had food from Imperial a couple of times now and feel they are the best Chinese takeout in the area. Delivery has been speedy. Lots of veg in the dishes we chose which was nice. Particularly enjoyed the prawn toast, and king prawns with green peppers in black beans sauce. Wouldn’t opt for chips again but portion sizes are so generous it wouldn’t be needed. Best Chinese takeout I’ve had in a very long time.”
