Afternoon tea/coffee scone, cream & jam for £3 was very good value. We bought several washable mats for kitchen & bathroom. A beautiful lamp with a huge price reduction. The canvas pictures are beautiful and economical. Staff helpful and friendly throughout the store.”

“We went today for a sunday roast. The food was beautiful, a good portion of lamb, potatoes and vegtables were perfectly cooked and the biggest yorkshire pudding which was lovely. Jessica served us, she was very attentive and was helpful as i have a medical condtion, so some foods i cannot eat. The service was quick, and the atmosphere was very relaxing and cosy. The price was very good value for money. I would highly recommend the montgomery, and we will visit again very soon. The staff are a credit to them.”

“Stopped by for a meal and a few drinks, and it was such a great experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everything was really well priced — but what really stood out was the service. Levi was absolutely brilliant: friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely made us feel looked after from start to finish. You can tell he really cares about the customer experience. Will definitely be back!”

“This place is amazing. The decor inside is precise and gorgeous. The staff we met were polite and so attentive. The food and drinks were served quickly and what I had, chicken satay skewers, was the very very very nice! There's also something for everyone as the menu is is about 6 pages! They do chicken nuggets and chips for those not fussed on trying the Chinese food. The food was reasonably priced. Not extortionate and not too cheap, a fair price that I could agree with. The music was calm and not played too loud like some places do and the table was laid out beautifully. Honestly I don't think I really have a bad thing to say about it. I am disappointed by the comments about staff not understanding English that I've seen in other reviews. Personally I thought their English was very good provided we spoke clearly (not mumbled) and in all honesty to have a go at that would be ridiculous when going to a Chinese restaurant! Hearing the staff speak mandarin arround us added to authenticity of the place and we didnt have any communication issues at all and if we had it wouldnt have been a problem! Honestly though the food is nice and the decor is beautiful, genuinely beautiful. Definitely worth trying if you haven't been before and ill be coming back and recommending it to others alike!”

“Was there today and it as an amazing afternoon. Pub was very clean, staff where so friendly and welcoming as soon as we went in. Drinks where perfect, they where hosting a weekly local event for those pensioners in need due to cost of living, who could be in need of hot or cold drinks and hot or cold food. Staff went out of their way to help everyone, they had entertainment on in the form of disco, karaoke and even games of bingo. Never seen so much effort put in to help locals who may be in need of help due to cost of living. Whole experience was amazing and staff going out their way. 10* rating for our visit, absolutely exceptional pub and staff. Will be visiting again. Thank you and well done to management and all the staff.”

“Visited here instead of the Hoole village one as it was fully booked on Sunday. What a breath of fresh air, no staff running around like the place is on fire. Host when we entered was very chatty and friendly. Doesn’t feel cramped at all compared to hoole, no massive queue for the carvery either, all in all for a family get together it was lovely relaxed and would definitely visit again instead of the Chester one.”

“I received excellent customer service from The Sleep Centre at Champions trading park Upton, where they have a very good selection of beds and mattresses and are fairly priced. I was able to choose a mattress with ease and the assistance given was very helpful. Mattress was delivered the following morning and old one removed for a small fee. Top marks awarded!”
