“(For me) this visit was about this fantastic building - my information was that it was a bath house or a swimming facility for students ..?! Either way, the tiles are still in the original design, one pool is covered with wooden floor the other one is divided for smaller fish tanks… the stairs running upstairs(closed from public) marvellous! I love nosing around in these historical sites. Otherwise (fishing and pet business) a great place to buy all you need. Seen rabbits, rats and different kinds of birds, too. Staff were friendly even though they knew I wasn’t there for potential shopping. Great place, the prices for cat food (I had a peep) was cheaper than in the other chains. I recommend it to everyone.”

“I have been using this store for a while now. Attracted by the fact that this was an independent shop making use of the internet to widen it's customer base and so stay in business. So glad I found them. Their prices are always competitive, often much better than the big chains. Note this time I made a mistake. An item has been on my list for a while but I placed an order with Ormskirk for treats and toys forgetting they were likely to do dog shampoo. It was almost 24 hours before I realised and contacted them saying was it possible to amend the order Their response within the hour "Of course don't worry, it has been done, all sorted for you". Truly amazing. You don't get that with a chain.”

“THE best pet stall around. Family run for years and all their pet food is all organic and natural. They've helped me out with my puppy Arthur with so many amazing chewy treats and they also have an abundance of medications and treatments that are far cheaper than the vets. They are all lovely and super helpful. Pizzel sticks and buffalo ears are his favourite so far. We wouldn't go anywhere else because we know everything is good and healthy for him and really good prices too. Absolutely amazing family business.”
