“I visited the store today and spoke to Paul regarding purchasing a pair of shoes. He was absolutely fantastic, really helped me with everything from the fitting of the shoe. to explaining to me the process of how the shoe was made, and how to keep the shoe in good standing. Paul was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and no question seemed too much, it felt more like purchasing something from a long time friend than a simple business transaction. This is my first purchase from Loakes, but after the service received today, I can safely say it certainly will not be my last.”

“Had an induction hob and extractor fan installed. Very helpful throughout. Advised on what we needed and ensured it was delivered and installed quickly. The induction hob didn't work (due to an issue with our electricity supply - our mistake). Swapped out for one that works off a normal plug with no hassle / extra cost. Parts cheaper than could be found online. Highly recommend.”

“Really helpful staff! I bought a coat from them in April (Ogston lightweight) but unfortunately it had developed a flaw, upon showing the ladies in the store i was told i could choose a replacement or send off for a repair. I opted for a replacement! I chose a 6Oz Sylkoil jacket, the Bristol i believe, and it fitted great in an XL (it's a slim fitting jacket) but it was simply too long. The lady in the store then shown me the Ashby which is the same design, just shorter, it fit perfeclty in the same size, and the length was perfect too, making it really suit me! Love my new jacket, worn it more this past week since getting it than my ogston had in total! Will be back for sure!”

“I cannot recommend Vicky and Anna more highly! They did my bridal hair and make up, and hair and make up for my mum and five bridesmaids. They were absolutely fantastic. From the first day I booked, Vicky was always super communicative, replying to messages quickly. I had a trial with my mum and sister and Vicky and Anna really listened to my vision, and also my mum and sisters preferences and created us our own unique look. Vicky also recommended us some great products to get our skin prepped for the day, which we used and really loved. On the day they were amazing, it really was like having two more friends getting ready with you. They were so calm and unflappable and helped us with so much more than hair and make up - they have some great wedding morning tips. They are so warm and lovely. The finished looks were incredible, I felt like a million dollars and all my girls looked stunning. Having been to many weddings, their work is truly exceptional and a cut above the rest. They managed to keep everyone looking on theme, while making sure everyone has their own preferences included so everyone felt themselves. Particularly my mum who doesn’t normally wear make up at all, her make up was beautiful, so she looked glam but still felt comfortable. I really cannot say enough good things about Vicky and Anna. “Just after Christmas I went in to look at ottoman beds and to get prices etc. After a discussion with Julie I said I would return in a few months when finances allowed. She wrote down names of beds, mattresses with prices etc. Very friendly and helpful. Around 3 weeks ago I returned and ordered a side opening ottoman bed with mattress and headboard. It was delivered on time, set up etc and I have been very pleased with it, so much so that when I decided I needed a wardrobe I returned to Good Knights. After spending a considerable amount of time deciding on with wardrobe to buy, I ordered one. Keith then phoned the suppliers, but could not get hold of them. However he phoned me later to say they could order one for me which they did. Delivery time was 2-4 weeks but again I received a call to say they could deliver on the Fri ( it was ordered on the previous Sat) It arrived within the one hour timeslot as promised. If I need any other bedroom furniture in the future i would return. Good old fashioned customer service and they stick to delivery times. Excellent.”
