“Like walking back into the 1970s. But in a good way. Had a couple of pints here with mates last night. The beer selection was a bit bizarre, with lots of porters and stout, but I was quite happy with a pale from Exeter Brewery. The team are super friendly and having left a bag behind, I was amazed when someone not only picked up the phone at 1045, but said they'd found it. The decor is like something from Minder in the early 80s. Terrible lighting in parts but there are areas that are more dimly illuminated. Probably a good thing! There's also a pool table and a couple of darts boards which is awesome. The audio system also sounds like it's on its last legs but I'm sure it's had a good innings! Anyway, who needs music. They had Morris dancers performing in the garden to last night. Definitely pay this place a visit!”

“I had had a busy day about in Bromley and arrived early from that to a reservation I'd made that day for early dinner (18:15). Prices were properly reasonable for such fine dining. The presentation of each course was spot on, I'd even say en place, buuuuut not my element at this time. The maître d' was professional and courteous. I felt a bit under-dressed but braved through and they brought no attention to this and treated me. At some spirit auguery advice, my royal self reluctantly avoided steak this evening, going instead from chef's suggestion menu, the seared scallops and then sea bass. The scallops were grilled, and tender rather than rubbery as I sometimes 'expect' of scallop. I'd had some grilled halloumi around lunch tiem, and joked that scallops would be right out to pair with halloumi. I think there is this. The sea bass were served seared with skin on, and a sweet tomato salsa, with a potato tower of some kind. Service were quiet and excellent. I did not once feel rushed and I NEEEEED to return for some côte de boeuf or rib-eye some day soon. This should be written. I'll be needing dress better suited. “A little gem. Went here last night very friendly nice lady serving us we decided to have the Korean hot pot as we had never tried before and sounded really nice. We had to move tables as all are not equipped with heat for the hot pot but it wasn’t an issue. The food came quick and tasted absolutely delicious. On top of that it was pretty good value for money. A nice little place with nice staff and amazing food what more could you ask for. Will definitely be going back.”

“Hadn’t booked but they were able to easily accommodate. I at first thought they were closed but was just the first customer of the evening! (It was a Monday night). It could maybe have done with some music in the background. But the decor was wonderful & service good. The food came out super speedy. I had coconut rice & vegetarian Thai green curry w/ tofu. It was some of the best Thai food I have eaten - and that includes in Thailand. Very reasonably priced. Will most definitely be going back.”

“We stayed here when visiting London. This 2-bedroom apartment was stunning with modern design, and pretty spacious. The reason I chose this apartment because I wanted to stay close to King’s Cross station. It’s also close to Coal Drop’s Yard with great selection of street food, restaurant, coffee shops, bars and outdoor space for kids. There was also Co-op supermarket 3 minutes away by foot. 24 hours front desk was friendly and helpful. You have access to the gym room in the basement. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. It would be nice if umbrellas were provided in the apartment for use on rainy days. I”ll definitely stay here again if visiting London.”
