“This was the best Italian food I've ever had. The bread was so soft and savory, the cheese was so nutty and flavorful, and the olives were the best olives I've ever had, taste and texture. And that's just the Starters! The stuffed pasta was incredible and the fish tasted amazing! The staff were incredibly helpful accommodating our 10 month old with a personal chair and extra care. He loved the mushroom soup! Incredible experience overall. A bit on the very expensive side.”

“Nice filling lunch. Had the prawns with gnocchi and calamari. Both dishes were good and good portion size. Unfortunately they didn’t have any soup , would have loved to try. The staff were friendly and attentive, it wasn’t hard to get their attention when I was by myself in the front section of the store whilst most customers were in the back.”

“Booking was easy online. While I needed to make a time change which required a phone call, it was quick and easy to do. We went for the all you can eat tacos, but found so many yummy things on the menu we ordered other items instead. The Ghost Rider Marguerita was delicioso, the homemade chips and guacamole was excellent (pomegranate seeds were a nice touch), the Mexican Fattoush salad was fantastic - finally some health vegetables on my holiday! The chicken and carne asada tacos were small yet superb. We could have ordred another plate, if we wanted, but opted for desert instead. The Empinada for me with chantilly creame was a perfect end. My wife apprciates ambiance, which Madera has even without the 15th floor view. Though of course, having the best meal on our holiday, while watching the sunset over London was a perfect end to our day. Last, but not least Sabuj took attentive care of us all throughout our experience. We are already planning on returning soon.”

We got the sharing platter for 2, £50, not a bad price at all, as we were actually stuffed after, and it was super tasty - just wish there was a little more variety. Alexander (the Maidre D.)is always on hand to recommend specific dish and drinks combinations and is a charming host.
