“Heard this had re-opened after some time being closed and had heard the food was better than before - absolutely correct on both fronts. Arrived quite late, about 3pm, cash only so had to run off and get some - not an issue but worth noting. Excellent smaller selection of classic siu mei & dimsum with some rice and noodle dishes as well. Food was prepared quickly and was all delicious, especially the char siu, siu app and the soy sauce chicken. Very friendly staff, observing strict hygiene practices - would have been nice to have contactless but it's only just opened. Will be back”

“Occasionally go by to get food when I’m strolling around Elephant and Castle. Good and modern, not too cramped, and medium queue. Next to other shops, better than other Sainsbury shops, next to a park, way better than strolling through Brixton Market or East Street. However maybe I’m lucky to have a good experience since some of the reviews here seem to be concerning.. but idk”

“In Sainsbury's Beckenham the staff's are really good. They are always ready to help when you need to look for something that you want to buy but couldn't find where it was located. They are very friendly especially Debbie.”

“Very nice place to find South Indian spices, vegetables and fruits. They sells Mango leaves, Neem leaves and Banana leaves too. We could see variety of Indian foods in frozen zone. Store is very narrow and space is less so it is little different to shop in buzy day.”

“I shop here at least once a week. I had doubts about fruits and vegetables at the beginning, right now i buy all of them at lidl, quality is very good. Bakery is also very good. Many self check out tills available”

“Popped in Earlier, asked if they had anymore Stella. He went out the back, none out there. He said they were expecting a delivery today. We thanked him, and carried on shopping. 5 minutes later, he brought us another box of Stella. Didn’t get his name but he was dressed all in black, and a striking moustache. He went above and beyond to help us. Thank you very much”

They have drinks , food , meat , sweets , pet food , vegetables , fruit , dairy , celebration cards and event based things , medicinces and bakery items. Free parking and 1 disabled access parking . Bike racks available .”

“This is one of my favourite shops in which I find everything I want to buy, especially items that are hard to find in other shops. If you are looking for Mediterranean products, then this is the one to go to. I love their freshly baked Turkish bread and other pastries.”

“Lewisham Iceland was busy but the staff were still helpful. Security was wearing their badge clearly on display. Freezers were readily stocked and shelves nicely stacked. The floor was clear of empty boxes which made getting around easier. It was a great visit. Thank you!”

“Irfan, big thank you for keeping my purse today! I had amazing experience in this shop today. I left my purse at self service counter after payment this morning. I didn’t realise that until 4:00pm this afternoon, there is cash, 5 bank cards, my driving license in the purse. I was horrified, I dashed back to Tesco, find the lovely staff Irfan, he checked my ID and magically take my purse out from the drawer. It was him who found my purse this morning and kept it for me!!! I can’t thank him enough for his honesty, I would like to buy a small gift to say thank you, however he refused and calmly said it was his job! What an amazing boy!”
