The atmosphere was nice , the service was very good and the food was hot, fresh tastie and very filling , and they don't automatically add service charge to the bill”

The food was excellent, with a wide range of dishes to choose from, and the service was also brilliant. We were looked after by Birol, who was our host/waiter for the evening, and he was a very polite, friendly and funny gentlemen! “I’ve been here several times now since its recent opening. It’s a pretty looking place with a good selection of food both savoury and sweet. Staff are welcoming and you don’t feel pressured to leave. All in all a good local cafe to go to either with friends or alone”

“We came for a Sunday roast. The food was exceptional, huge portions and lots of options (including multiple veggie options). Decor is beautiful. Service was lovely, staff were very professional. The atmosphere was nice but died a little when the music went off around 8.30pm and it implied that it was time for everyone to leave. Also the 14.5% service charge seems steep for Beckenham.”

“I had had a busy day about in Bromley and arrived early from that to a reservation I'd made that day for early dinner (18:15). Prices were properly reasonable for such fine dining. The presentation of each course was spot on, I'd even say en place, buuuuut not my element at this time. The maître d' was professional and courteous. I felt a bit under-dressed but braved through and they brought no attention to this and treated me. At some spirit auguery advice, my royal self reluctantly avoided steak this evening, going instead from chef's suggestion menu, the seared scallops and then sea bass. The scallops were grilled, and tender rather than rubbery as I sometimes 'expect' of scallop. I'd had some grilled halloumi around lunch tiem, and joked that scallops would be right out to pair with halloumi. I think there is this. The sea bass were served seared with skin on, and a sweet tomato salsa, with a potato tower of some kind. Service were quiet and excellent. I did not once feel rushed and I NEEEEED to return for some côte de boeuf or rib-eye some day soon. This should be written. I'll be needing dress better suited. “A lovely little gem on the High Street and a great place to get some quick food if you don't feel like visiting a chain restaurant. The two owners are lovely and friendly, and the sandwiches are delicious with a great variety to choose from on the menu. Would definitely recommend for a quicker and cheaper option on the High Street.”

“Come in here with family for Lunch and had Kaci and a gentleman serve us who was top notch this place from food to service has drastically improved best it has been in a very long time. “i LOVE this nail bar. i’ve been quite a few times, but moved 200 miles away. i will still get my nails done by them every time i come back to london to see family as it’s perfect every single time. they are always spot on with my idea, no matter how difficult i am. the start of the acrylic and my cuticle is always seamless, which i don’t always get at other nail bars near my new house. prices are always so good as well. couldn’t recommend you all more!”

“The staff were very lovely, they worked with a smile on their face which was refreshing. The room was clean, bedding towels, bathroom etc. The heater was easy to work and warmed up the room relatively quickly. The only thing missing was a hairdryer which was disappointing.”

“This is a no nonsense sports bar and the only one in Beckenham (the others are masquerading as sports bars - no sound on TVs and pushchairs everywhere). The bar staff are brilliant and work hard, plenty of big screens with different sport catered for. I’m delighted to be kept safe by management taking security seriously..”

“Staff are rare breed of genuinely kind hearted people... I Delivered a parcel here today and accidentally unloaded some big and heavy ones that were for a different address in the park. By the time I turned around two of the guys had the large, heavy parcels on their shoulders and were walking them up the hill to my van. They then gave me directions to the right place. Thank you!!!!!! I'm very much appreciative of your help! I cant comment on the coffee as I didn't have time to stop and get one but it smelled lovely in there! The decor was 10/10, as was the atmosphere!”

“Back again to this gem of a boozer in Beckenham. Great pint, great selection of different products to suit all tastes. It was busy when we went, but we got a table. Table was clean and we had all the menus and everything that we needed. Food was delicious, very warm and cosy comfort food. Atmosphere was cracking. We were served by the lovely Rachel, who I believe manages the pub. She was attentive, friendly and courteous throughout our visit. Overall, a thoroughly pleasant experience. We’ll be back again!”

“I pop in whenever I’m in Beckenham, usually just for a drink. My last visit was impromptu and decided to have something to eat. What I really like about this place it’s exactly how a pub should be. It’s clean, comfortable with a good selection of drinks. The staff are all so friendly and make you feel welcome. Proper pub food, done really well and exceptional value for money. Great to see a traditional pub still thriving. Thoroughly recommend this place to anyone!”
