“I visited the Guildford Parkway Beefeater restaurant on Wednesday 19th November. I was not particularly hungry so a meal from the children's menu sufficed. This was steak chips, peas and mini corn on the cob. The food was delicious and very promptly served. K-C was my waitress and was extremely professional and polite. That said, this applied to all the staff and the atmosphere was very relaxing. In particular I consider that the meal was excellent value for money at £6-99. As an example, I recently paid £9+ for a McDonald's meal. Food was good, and service prompt, BUT, as with all such restaurants, I had to eat with my fingers from a paper bag. At the Beefeater, I have a proper plate and cutlery, and service was just as quick as at McDonald's. Also, yesterday, before dining at the Beefeater, I visited my local Costa. Staff are very pleasant, however I paid £12+ for coffee, cheese cake and a toasted sandwich. In other words, almost twice the cost of a "real" Beefeater meal! Plus, again I had to eat with my fingers! So, overall, many thanks and I look forward to my next meal at Guildford Parkway. Allan Woolston.”

“I have ordered from Kiru more than 13 times since January 2023. They are hands down the best sushi restaurant I’ve found in London. They consistently deliver quality food and I haven’t had a single bad order order from them, it’s ALWAYS amazing. You can easily taste the care and love put into their food! I do hope they consider bringing back some of the hot food options like the chicken katsu or miso soup.”

“Ordered from here loads of times, only once have I had a three star pizza but for the amount of times I've ordered that's no drama.... Dominoes delivered to the wrong street twice and reused the same box twice... The pizza was soaked in grease so at the moment I'm exclusively ordering Papa John's (my local pizza hut has an atrocious rating not only on Google) I wish they had Tango as a drink option though. Pepsi is rubbish and 7up is nice but it would be nice to have a third option. I'm walking home after a long shift at work and going to order tonight hmmm what to have what to have....”

“Been using this restaurant since COVID times and it's always a pleasant experience. They have reduced salad portion with the grilled meat recently which is a little disappointing but other than that it's still good. Soltani is usually good and the waitresses are nice. Not sure about the bad reviews below about service, perhaps they prefer serving English people! As someone with a very sensitive stomach I've never had any issues with upset stomach after eating here. Portions are very large too. Recommended.”

“Really loved it here, new restaurant on boardwalk in Lakeside, was on the way to Wagamama but saw this and walked in. Service, Food and drink along with the restaurant and location are nearly faultless, or they were for our visit. Good bits Cocktails: honey bee and rum crumble delicious Starters: Lobster bonbons and King prawn and Lobster bites dish, presented beautifully and delicious, was piping hot also Mains: Ramen broth with sirloin, spicy and interesting, better than Wagamama (bit more expensive but worth it). Wagu burger with truffle fries, very hot and fresh, moist lovely texture Bad bits Am really being critical here and these are mentioned as to help the restaurant Glass stuck to table (I pretended to be a magician and two waitresses couldn't move it) table and / or glass obviously not clean and dried 100% Fantastic meal and visit, thanks very much was first meal out in a long time Good luck with this new venture and we will return soon Waitress spilled a bit of my cocktail”

“We were walking down the street, looking for a nice spot to have delicious food and relax, when we found Taco Bell. We were over the moon because it had always been our dream to come there some day. We ordered basic options from the menu and they appeared to be so yummy. “Thought I’d try this Chinese after getting a menu through the post a few months ago. I’ve been on the hunt for “the Chinese” and I think I’ve found it. Can order online so that’s a massive plus. The food was really good. Lots of flavour not too greasy just overall really good reasonably priced food. Will definitely be back. Delivery was pretty prompt and arrived hot. My only gripe is I ordered a can of normal coke and got a diet one but who cares. Food is really good so that’s all that matters.”

“Real authentic Chinese food, when served we were greeted by a gorgeous young lady who catered to our needs and she gave us a good introduction to Chinese cuisine and current affairs in the Chinese domain. The meal was stunningly prepared and felt like it been prepared by a distant family member with the love and passion of coming from a long trip to your first home cooked meal after months away. The restaurant has the most interesting selection of fish and marine life that I’ve seen in a restaurant in my 35 years of living, the fish were an array of species and this was a refreshing sight to see on my very brief wait for my food. Will be returning with my family and friends for another meal soon, I’m also planning to use them for my 10 year wedding anniversary party. Love to all the team.”
