“Delicious food with a huge variety at a reasonable price. We managed to secure a table for a Saturday evening. The restaurant is spacious and its acoustic features are commendable. It wasn't disturbingly noisy even though it was full. Every single dish was served within 20 minutes and the quality was superb. We will be sure to return here in the future.”

“This is a great little pub, tucked away and has everything you want in a Great British pub. The layout inside has a layout which allows for groups to have a catch-up around the larger tables and plenty of areas for couples to share intimate conversations. The garden offers a selection of seats and a child plays area which fits in perfectly and allows those restless little ones and area to play safely yet still within eyesight of their responsible adults The serve a great pint of Pride, I understand other drinks are available”

“Fabulous first visit to the monthly brunch sessions on 1st Saturday of each month. Absolutely cracking. A great range on the brunch menu without being overwhelming, good choices and lovely selection of sides/extras. Enjoyed a beautifully presented plate of food that was amazing value for money! Also, try a brunch cocktail, or enjoy with juice or a cuppa. Or a pint! But do go and try. Staff super friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Lovely atmosphere and surroundings, a warm hubbub of chat, a really chilled atmosphere for a good feed after a big night out, a catch up with friends/family/neighbours or colleagues. A local for more than just locals. Dog friendly, family friendly. Just really friendly. Brilliant!!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been coming to On Fries since it first opened, and it’s been amazing watching the business grow. Run by Nigel but has Cam and Kyle always delivering top service. Honestly, it’s the best steak and fries I’ve had cooked perfectly every time and topped off with their signature green sauce, which I now buy to use at home! Can’t wait to start pairing it with other meals because it works so well with steak. Highly recommend”

“Visited twice this past week due to our first time being amazing with work colleagues group of 25 of us and the food was absolutely beautiful and all came out the same time and was hot and very delicious and presented excellently. The service and ambient is brilliant, welcomed by all the staff and made to feel special. The view of the race ground is brilliant, wasn’t a race event on but excellent location for the racers. “Lovely looking large pub, great prices for food and drinks, large screens for football, staff very friendly. Burger, chips and Guiness for £10.99 South of the boarder is rare, so a good find. Going back tomorrow Sunday lunch, reccommended.”

“We are a group of young men (in our 60's) who meet up every Thursday for a few hours of chat. While from the menu we've only been tempted by dirty fries and nachos both have been tasty. As nice as a pub may look and as good as the menu etc may be that all counts for nothing if you haven't got the staff to back it up. Thankfully the staff here are brilliant. We are always greeted with a smile and a hello and they are always there when you need them. Even better that they chat and laugh with us. Great service indeed.”

“Can't say how much better than all the other harvesters we have been in this one is. Food was cooked to exactly how we wanted which is always more than 6 people last time was 13. They brought all meals at the same time which was asked of we wanted by staff. The food was all cooked very very very well m. Members off staff ate very helpful and so good with he kids and adults clean tidy always looks good.”

“A Lovely meal. We had the 12oz fillet steak & it was served piping hot & cooked to perfection. We also had the BBQ chicken & ribs upgrading to the full rack. We were offered skinny fries or chunky triple cookies chips and we both chose the latter. We added a side of chunky slaw & beer battered onion rings. All the food was very good. After this we were full so didn't order pudding so will have to return. Our server Emma was very helpful and is a real asset to this Beefeater. We'll done Emma & all the staff at the Tattenham corner Beefeater. We will definitely return.”
