“An Italian style coffee shop. Excellent coffee which is smooth and strong. The cakes are really great and home made. Very reasonable price as well. The lunch options are paninis, sandwiches and salad bowls, plus baked potatoes and priced between £3.50 and £8.50. Cakes £2.90 Coffees around £2-3 with Americano £2.40 and cappuccino £2.70. This is a friendly cafe with outdoor seating and ideal for coffee and cake whilst out shopping or light lunches with friends. A really lovely addition to this fast improving High Street.”

“One of the best cinemas in south London. Reasonably priced tickets, spacious, and every seat is a recliner. Only downside is the speakers behind some of the screens sometimes carry such heavy reverb that the image has visible ripples. Not a deal breaker, but noteworthy as it's an impact to the biggest perk of the cinema experience - the high quality visual experience you can't get at home.”

“Stopped into the Harrow location on our way back to the Midlands and had a really pleasant experience. We didn’t have a reservation but the lady receiving guests showed us to a table for two straight away. There were plenty of patrons but the atmosphere was pleasant and not too noisy or overwhelming. We had the butchers block and a selection of drinks that had plenty of fresh fruit and ice served with them as advertised. Our server, Nicole, was very friendly and welcoming and was attentive to our needs, as well as those of a large party seated next to us. She had a warm and approachable demeanour that helped two out of towners feel at ease :)”

We recommend the lamb chops, grilled chicken and the burger was delicious. Excellent service also. The milkshakes are amazing, we took two to go and we recommend the strawberry cheesecake flavour. 10/10.”

“Proper hidden gem. Don’t let the appearance fool you, this place is well worth a visit. Every time I’m in east London, this is where I’m eating. The lamb mandi is stunning. The sauces are spicy and excellent. The rice is cooked to perfection and the perfect balance of sweet and savoury. Value for money, this place is hard to beat. I love how it’s full of locals. Feels a proper traditional Somali dining experience. They were amused at my confusion of being served a banana with my food, which I’m told is a Somali staple. Tried it the Somali way, and they were right.”

“Made a lottery pick of a choice after a short walk in the nearby Chalet Woods and was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Food, Service, Ambience, full marks. Tried the falafel dish for starters, well seasoned, and the lamb shank I had and lamb burger were both top tier. With regards to my shank, soft and succulent, falling off the bone. Highly recommend, and we will be back.”
