“Firstly, the venue was welcoming and kept to a high standard, with personal touches for the occasion. The food was outstanding, the presentation of the food was beautiful and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it- complements to the chef! The staff had such a warm and welcoming approach where nothing seemed too much. They joined in with the party which added a personal touch from Pratts and Paynes, making sure glasses were filled and everyone was having a great time. Under new management, the place has transformed, providing excellent service and creating a warm and inviting atmosphere—a must-visit for a memorable dining experience. Recommendation: Try out their beef and chicken burger, and it’s the best. I can’t help but add this to my review. It was freshly made and delicious. I’m short of words. I was wowed.”

“Absolutely loved it here! The owner/chef came out to greet us and asked about how we liked the food. He is truly one in a million. Place was excellent and food was delicious. I had the Argentinian steak and tender stem brocolli. Loved it! The toilets were very clean with amazing Dyson hand and dryer combination taps which I've never seen before. Amazing!”

“First time visiting La Porchetta and I was pleasantly surprised! We were a large group of 17 and had booked in advance. The staff were really attentive, and all our food arrived together — fresh, tasty, and made with great ingredients. It had that authentic feel that reminded me of family-run restaurants I’ve been to in Italy. Portion sizes were generous, and although I didn’t have pizza, the ones served around the table looked amazing with plenty of toppings, whereas I enjoyed the pollo milanese. Can’t wait to go back!”

“I have been to Middeys on several occasions and they offer a wide-range of excellent halal dishes. The drinks are also superb - I love the lychee bubbles - and the service is fantastic place. It is very popular but have gone several times without needing to book.”

“5* food at this restaurant featuring re-invented Turkish classics. The aroma of fresh bread is recognizable by walking near the venue, which is hidden behind tall flowerbeds. I loved the Iskender: lamb pieces were juicy and tender, portion is generous but not excessive for one person, limited butter which is good for your health. Service charge includes complimentary homemade bread and olives. The restaurant has many covers to serve, so be patient about service, although the wait was more than reasonable on Sat lunchtime. Highly recommended for tourists.”

“I remember regularly going to The Bengal Restaurant as a kid in the 1970s and 1980s. This was when the restaurant was at the old location on Queensway. Tandoori Chicken, Mixed grill, naan, Lamb Bhuna Ghost and a glass of bitter lemon. good quality, affordable and consistent food. I remember it well. We had our favourite waiter who used to take care of us, tall, skinny chap, always wore a white coat, with a pen on his lapel. I think his name was Souman. Wonder if he’s still there…”

“The food is actually amazing!!! Never disappoints when I go to be honest. The sweetcorn fritters for starters are my favourite, the pad Thai & the green curry are all amazing!! I would say however that it is definitely on the pricier side for a restaurant in Eastcote really. The service is also a bit of a let down despite it being so quiet and they close rather early too and they make that know when you stay late in the restaurant so not ideal for any social gathering just a quick, expensive meal really”

“We just needed a quick lunch before travelling back home saw this place was cheap and thought we'd try it and the food was beautiful, I hate the katsu curry which was lovely and my partner had the duck ramen which was beautiful. The broth was to die for and I'd happily drink it everyday if I could. Would highly recommend.”
