“We switched my mother to Jade Pharmacy Egdware from our cold impersonal supermarket pharmacy. We have not found even one downside in doing so. We are incredibly happy with Jade Pharmacy. Recently, the doctor's surgery totally messed up over two consecutive days with two urgent medication prescriptions from the Palliative Care Team. Jade Pharmacy patiently worked with me even when I was asking about progress many times a day, gave us advice that was crucial in progressing one of them, and then went way above anything I would expect any pharmacy to do to help ensure my mother got her desperately-needed medication in time. “August 2024: We had an extremely pleasant stay in this hotel. We appreciated that our room had been fully refurbished and that our window was facing the smaller side street, not Edgware Road. Daily cleaning of room and change of towels, complimentary tea and coffee amenities, relatively big TV screen, very good bathroom. There is a staff member at the reception desk 24/7, and all the staff members were very friendly. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so we cannot say anything about that. The immediate area to the left of the hotel is very Arabic, that‘s true. But it did not bother us at all. To the right you take a few steps and are by the canal and in Little Venice. We recommend the bar Vagabond for wine or beer and the restaurant/ café boat Darcie & Mae Green for a drink in Little Venice in the evening and the 101 Church Street Café for budget-friendly and very good full English breakfast in "Little Beirut“. Update August 2025: Because we liked our stay so much last year, we decided to stay at the same hotel again for a couple of days in August 2025. We enjoyed our stay as much as we did last year. This time we booked it including breakfast. The breakfast was simple but really OK, especially considering the low costs. It is true that the Wi-Fi is not very good, but it didn‘t bother us.”

“It’s always nice to have a cafe in a park but this one is outstanding! It’s made Canons Park a destination place to visit. I’ve already had a delicious mozzarella and roasted veg roll, a luxury matcha green tea with vanilla, and the homemade banana and chocolate croissant was a real treat! And such lovely people serving. Can’t recommend enough!”

“Couldn’t have picked a better place for a delicious, filling, authentic curry meal for our first night in London. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We did not know this was a BYOB establishment, and when he realized that we’d wished we had known that, he told us to run next door and buy some beers from Aldi - and he saved the table for us! We are Americans and did not know how to properly eat our prawn puri appetizer, so he comically showed us the way. Food was 10/10 delicious. We cleaned our plates - which is rare for us. Maybe we were just hungry from the long day of travel, but I think there is something very special about this place. You will not be disappointed if you visit Akash!”

“These guys were amazing from the showroom to delivery. Personalised, understanding, attentive, respectful, kind, helpful. Went above and beyond in the showroom- putting the mattress we wanted to test on the style of bed frame we have at home to simulate the firmness. We missed a special offer for a free mattress protector and duvet but they called us to say they had managed to get us the items anyway. Then on delivery- realizing I had 3 broken slats on the bed, they helped me cut down some spares to fit. Absolutely amazing faultless service. I would highly recommend Bensons.”

One of the few places I can find "Loukanika" Sausages sugar free and Marcel Pork rinds (Scratchings) with just Pork Salt and Paprika in the ingredients. Also great for Nuts, they have a wide variety as well as lots of tropical fruit & Veg. They are open 24/7 as far as I know. I have been there at 3am after work!”

“Nearby home, is a good supermarket, only that sometimes if you go in the evening you might be unlucky to find empty shelves, but in any case you find a good variety of products and sometimes good deals . Be aware of the parking, if you drive to Lidl Edgware remember always to register your car scanning the barcode from your receipt for free parking, otherwise you will get a parking fine.”
