Breakfast was included and it was top notch - without doubt the best buffet breakfast we have ever had in a UK hotel. Even the coffee was delicious! We would definitely stay there or at another Toby Carvery again and would highly recommend it.”

The dogs were not only adorable but also very well trained, making the experience even more enjoyable. The store itself was beautiful, spotless, and had such a warm, inviting atmosphere. “A really cosy and somewhat secluded building not far from Queens Park Rangers football club. The pub (The Queen’s Tavern) is no longer in use but the rest of the building is now a hostel. Quiet part of town at night but warm, friendly hostel for the more mature than the rowdy bunch.”

“I've been enjoying Mr. Chan's mouthwatering Chinese takeout for six months now. It's my go-to spot because the food is consistently delicious, with options like Sweet and Sour Chicken or Beef in black bean sauce always leaving me craving more. What's impressive is the generous portions, offering both great taste and value. The ingredients are fresh, flavors well-balanced, and the service is friendly and efficient. If you haven't tried Mr. Chan's, I highly recommend it for its affordability and culinary excellence. It's a gem for Chinese food enthusiasts!”

“We had a wonderful experience at the Premier Inn London Hammersmith (Ravenscourt Park) last spring. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean (and affordable), and the location is absolutely excellent. Our group got stuck in London in the Heathrow shutdown chaos, and manager Lenuta at Premier Inn was absolutely incredible with helping us secure rooms for extra nights. She was so kind and helpful. The staff also surprised two of the college students on the trip with a birthday celebration when the extended trip meant they didn't get to spend their birthdays at home. We cannot say enough good things about our experience at this Premier Inn. It's also an excellent location--close to a beautiful park, wonderful cafes, a short walk to the amenities in Hammersmith, and just a short walk to Ravenscourt station, which offers easy Tube access to the entire city.”

“A short walk from the tube. Our room was small, but big enough. It had an ensuite with a great shower. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, and a decent TV. We only stayed one night, and were made to feel very welcomed by everyone there. Excellent value for money too.”

“Ordered twice now, both times have been extremely delicious. The chicken strips and wings are amazing, you can taste that they are grilled and have a tasty piri piri sauce. The pizza, wow, I couldn't stop eating it. I prefer this pizza over some of the large brand companies! I also like how the toppings don't dictate how much the pizza costs. All in all, I am very pleased and satisfied and hope to be ordering for many more times to come.”

“This review is for the private rooms. It's a clean, quiet room for an unbeatable price in London. I've stayed here twice on extended layovers in the UK, once in August 2024 and once in June 2025. The sheets and the bed are clean, and I appreciate that they have a full kitchen and ironing services. Respectfully, when looking for budget stays in London you do need to adjust your expectations. I've stayed in a number of budget hotels over the years and this is the only one that didn't have carpet mites or a mildew-y smell. London really is one of those places where it's worth it to upgrade your housing. This isn't a 5* experience by any means, just a safe and clean place to hang your hat when you're rarely going to be in the room anyways. I will say that this time the bathrooms were nowhere near as clean as last time. It was worth it to wait until late morning and use the facilities right after the cleaners. It seemed to me that there was a lot more long term residents there, mostly men, so it didn't have the same vibes as last time. I think it's probably a commentary on the global economic situation than anything else. The staff have always been pleasant, by UK service standards. :) Keep in mind their policies regarding cash that are provided when booking to avoid any phaff.”

“Since staying at the queen I have been treated so well by everyone. After arriving late due to being left hanging by another hostel, they took me in at very early hours. All staff have been so effortlessly accommodating. Kyle especially has made my stay amazing, as a solo traveler, his constant chats and company has been refreshing!”

“Absolutely a great Hotel with a great location in London. You are a few meters away from Victoria Station and this means that you are near everything that matters in London. Room are a small but cleaned every days. Bathroom was perfect. The only downside was the heat: no air conditioning and only a 'basic' floor fan that was practically useless. I suggest it for a quick trip with family or friends.”

“I held my 40th here in March and from initial meeting to the end of the evening Tad and his colleagues could not have been more helpful or kind. The venue is perfect - cool decor, great staff, delicious drink offerings and an element of cool/different. The food options on offer were ideal. I would hugely recommend!”

“I just stayed for 10 days. Everyone there was very helpful to me. This is not the nicest hotel in London, but it doesn’t pretend to be. This place is in a great location and The rate could not be better. There were some issues in the past at this location but that was with previous owners. The folks running it now are competent, kind, and attentive. If you want to stay at a hotel chain then go stay there. You will pay a lot more. If you are looking for a nice space that won’t break the bank, you’ve just found your hotel!”

“I was staying for an extended period and was thoroughly satisfied with both the location and service. ❤️ I am especially grateful for the assistance provided by staff members Abbey (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) and Baron. ❤️ Abbey was truly a wonderful member of staff, showing considerate care towards elderly guests (assisting with luggage and general attentiveness) and treating tourists with limited English as a gentleman should. Thanks to him, I experienced lovely mornings and homecomings throughout my 15-day stay in London. I am Japanese. We Japanese hold 'omotenashi' (hospitality) in high regard. This hotel staff embodies it. There may be issues with some bathrooms (some rooms lacked hot water) and the building's age. However, I was moved by the staff's attentiveness far more than these points. I would recommend it to Japanese friends. To staff member Abbey, thank you for the wonderful memories. My sincere gratitude.”

“The room is clean and everything else is neat, tidy too. I only write this review because of other low rated review that was written before and I was worry before I come BUT NOT anymore after I am staying right now on July 2022. Everything is great especially with this price. They even put microwave and refrigerator that I don't see it in my Marriott Hotel that I stayed last week. For your information, it is a little far from train station and NO air condition for American. Other than that I can't ask for more with this price that is around the same as HOSTELS and NEARER to London than other cheap motels, hotels with your own clean room.”
