“Recently done a whole lot of shopping for the household. Staff were very friendly and helpful..they were very kind enough to help take the shopping to the car. Must say their quality of meat and fish I brought were very much fresh and nicely cut. Will defo be doing my monthly shopping there.”

“I absolutely love it. It's like an Aladdin cave, some little treasure found every time. So much stuff you just couldn't buy in a regular supermarket. Please make sure staff are able to explain in English what some of the things are, maybe use bilingual display tags on some products, like fish. “Went for a birthday breakfast at the Royal Lancaster hotel, I had the breakfast buffet and was very happy with everything, the service was great, the breakfast options were plenty, with sweet and savoury there was something for everyone, please note if you’re Muslim you’ll have to request halal sausages from the kitchen as the ones out aren’t halal but glad there’s an option for that. The French toast was also amazing. Marcelina, Mounir and Ayska were lovely and very attentive throughout our breakfast, thank you again.”

The variety and quality of the food are exceptional, from the fresh fruit and natural juices to the freshly baked pastries and hot dishes prepared with care. “salmon sashimi has a good texture. The chicken katsu don is very good. Was expecting the egg to be more watery, but it turned out to be over hard which makes the don too dry. The eel don is nice too, however the sauce can be a bit too sweet.”

We are always welcomed with open arms and the team bend over backwards to accommodate us. I must shout out the whole team… they’re all amazing… however, Becks has served us since we first started coming here, since moving in locally, before Jason the Head Chef joined, she was the main reason for our return. Jason joined, the food has been out of this world… I would recommend the roasts - they’re delicious! The beef is served pink and the vegetables are cooked perfectly and well seasoned. It’s always a pleasure coming to visit The Black Horse and we cannot recommend it enough. “This cafe carefully provides the very best tasting English Breakfast I have ever experienced. The presentation of which wouldn't be out of place in the best restaurants. They really care about their customers with happy smiling staff who take pride in every aspect of what they do. The cafe is immaculately clean and the prices are excellent value for money. “A restaurant with delicious and authentic Thai fare. The two of us were stuffed with one appetizer, a meat dish and a bowl if rice. Didn't check the wine list but soft drinks are pretty affordable. Dishes were served hot and freshly prepared. The server kindly offered chopsticks yet it was a little inconvenient to use with plates not bowls. One thing worth noting was that the heater wasn't strong enough to warm us up - girls sitting next table needed to cover their knees with coats.”

Conscious, friendly and attentive staffs, neat environment and well cooked meals. Spent a little over £100 but we were full to the brim and had to ask for takeaway packs...lol. “We visited on a Saturday and took advantage of their excellent 2 courses lunch set menu which is priced at under £20. The restaurant is on Dean Street and well situated in the heart of busy Soho. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The cuisine is French and offers a flavour of the French Bistro and Brasserie. The menu is quite extensive and offers traditional French dishes. We really enjoyed both the starters and the mains that we ordered especially the Sauteed Lamb Kidneys, the Grilled Mussels, the Beetroot Gratin. For the mains we can recommend Spinach and Mushroom Gruyere cheese open Pie, the Beef Bourguignon as well as the Pan Fried sesame crusted Tuna Steak as well as the Chargrilled Entrecote Steak. All the food was very good, being tasty, seasoned and well presented. The staff were also very friendly, efficient and helpful with the menu. The ambiance was great too not being too loud. We had a great time and will certainly revisit.”
