“I had the most amazing experience at Rock and Rose in Richmond. The food was great - my friend and I ordered the crispy tempura shrimp, the chicken milanese, the lamb leg steak and sticky toffee pudding for dessert - can't fault anything, tasted amazing! The drinks were delicious too, the bartenders put on a whole show for us and it added to the experience. The staff were all so lovely and hospitable, I loved the decor and ambience inside and it was super packed which goes to show how popular it is. Thank you so much for having us, this place is a hidden gem for sure! Can't wait to return ✨️”

“We visited as a party of 6 without having booked and they were able to accommodate us in spite of being quite busy. We ordered starters and a main course and all really enjoyed our meals. the restaurant was clean, well decorated and had gentle music playing in the background which provided a very nice atmosphere. The meal was excellent value.”

“Had a spontaneous lunch at Gaucho today with a friend and our server, Mathew, was absolutely fantastic. He’s easily one of the best waiters I’ve ever had — warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive. He made sure we were comfortable and checked in throughout without ever being intrusive. His service really made our experience special, and I would highly recommend him to anyone dining here! “What a lovely and amazing place. The dining rooms are as beautiful as the food. Its however more expensive than a Michelin starred restaurant. £394 for 4 of us. So control the drinking! Loved the litre of sicilian lemonade, reminded me of Glastonbury lemonade carts. My only little gripe, was it was winter, I had a long coat, and the host should have taken our coats as there is only a dirt floor and your coat tails trail in the dust. They eventually came to hang it up in their cloakroom”

“Enjoyed lunch today at the Watermans.The food was really excellent and the portions were very generous.The pub has recently been renovated and they have done a really great job on the decor and ambience. We came here under the First Table offer so the meal was excellent value.The staff were delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the gastro pub. “Stayed here for several days on a trip to London. All the staff we encountered were pleasant, friendly and welcoming. The room itself was very fresh, clean and had a good amount of space. We had twin beds, a small table and chair set, an opening window, TV, small area to hang and store clothes, plus the bathroom. There was also air conditioning in the room, and it wasn't the most powerful but a welcomed addition. We had the breakfast, cooked breakfast and cold items like cereal and fruit were there. Not a massive selection, but enough to keep you going for the day going forward. Hotel felt safe as well. The hotel has great access to bus stops, virtually outside the door which can help you get around the area or down to the train/tube station. Although the walk to Richmond town is not far if you are able to do the walk.”

“An excellent restaurant with brilliant service and great sanitation. We felt looked after and safe the entire evening! Food was one of the best we have had in London. We got the aloo tiki chaat, papdi chat, salmon, shashlik and terichelly prawns for the starter and we were blown away by the authentic flavours. My favourite would have to be the aloo tiki chaat and the prawns. Everything tasted fresh and tender with perfectly balanced flavours. For the main meal, we got the methi gobi, chettinad, butter chicken and dal makhani with rice, naan and paratha; all were superb! There was a range of spice levels and something for everyone in the family, veg and non-veg. The portions were a great size and the presentation of the food and drinks made the evening even better. I am normally quite particular and uncompromising about food but I have never been so impressed. We will definitely revisit many more times in the future.”

“Hawthorn is 100% your new go-to spot in Kew/Richmond. For some background, everyone who I was with for dinner had previously dined at the Glasshouse at some point in their lives, so when we all arrived for dinner at Hawthorn, we were intrigued about how it would compare… AND WOW our expectations were blown out of the water. Not only did we each quite literally lick the plates clean, but we all felt that each course was complex yet also felt so simple and just plain delicious. We heard that the restaurant just opened a couple of weeks ago, but the food tasted as if the chefs have been cooking together for years. Whether you are there for lunch or dinner, either set menu is incredibly well priced (especially when the food quality is at this level). The sommelier is incredible, suggesting perfect pairings for each course to accommodate every taste bud or finding a bottle that works with a table of diners who ordered a mixture of seafood and meat mains! Conveniently it’s also right next to Kew Gardens station or a short walk from Richmond station - very easy to get to and definitely worth a trip. What an amazing new restaurant in Kew!”

The flavors are subtle, layered and blended which come together in a delicious beautiful symphony for the taste buds. The unique flavors will have you thinking about your eating experience for days afterwards. The staff are so friendly and welcoming it’s like you are sitting at the table at their home.
