“We had our Christmas Dinner at Masons this year and it was perfect. The food, drink and service was spot on. The pianist set a great atmosphere in the well decorated and newly renovated restaurant. Even though it was busy there was never a point we were left waiting. Great experience and will be returning for non festive meals.”

“A fantastic indian restaurant near Victoria station, London. Nice and cosy indian atmosphere in an old fire station, and the food was probably the best indian I have ever tasted. Very well presented and authentic, but also a little more creative than many other indian restaurants. The staff was very kind and friendly. I will definitely visit this restaurant again on my next visit to London.”

“Tried the food here today and the place has already been added to my favourites! Food was delicious - we had the paneer butter masala curry with roti, onion bhaji and the mutton dosa - and staff were kind and friendly. Portions are of great size, the flavour is banging with lots of spice and herbs and I loved the sauces we got too. We combined with a pint of Blue moon from the bar and got ourselves a perfect meal. Trying the fried chicken next time for sure. Hackney Bridge itself is an awesome venue too, so loads of seating space outside and indoors to enjoy the delicious food. 5/5 would recommend”

“Food was absolutely amazing. I’m used to Italian restaurants in my own country (Netherlands) but this one was just simply amazing. It’s super cosy as soon as you step inside and the smell is great itself too. It feels like walking into a kitchen from a wonderful family, definitely feels like home. Everyone is so helpful and you can literally ask for anything and they’ll help you with it. It’s unfortunate I don’t have a restaurant like this with the same pizza’s over here. However if I am able to come back to this place, I definitely will. It’s such an experience itself!”

“We had a very memorable dinner at Carlo’s Trattoria ! Despite booking a table for 22 of us at very short notice , Bonnie and Jay went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing dinner for my family gathering. The service was attentive and impeccable throughout the whole evening and the food truly delicious with very generous portions. We all had the fixed menu with a selection of starters ( the fried calamari are the best I have eaten in a very long time - even my Sicilian auntie thought they were tastier than the ones in Sicily ) followed by the prawns risotto and fresh ravioli with porcini mushroom and sage which were both heavenly! We ended the dinner with an amazing selection of desserts, all beautifully presented. I live in London but I will definitely drive back to Guildford just to eat at Carlo’s again!. “We had a lovely evening here. Fantastic pizza. We tried the margherita and a bursts with Parma ham and both were full of flavour without being greasy. The staff were friendly and welcoming, Ciro was so helpful and service was really quick especially when I have an inpatient 10 year old. . Prices were very reasonable for the quality, and the restaurant had a warm, relaxed vibe.”

“Brilliant food. Very delicate and cooked so you could taste each individual flavour. Even the plain rice was somehow delicately spiced. The sea bass was excellent, and the halva and espresso dessert was a unique pairing that I’d never have thought of but worked perfectly. The head waiter was really nice and even Michael Nadra himself came out and was charming. I don’t say this lightly - but I’d highly recommend this for a special meal and I rarely say this of places. An excellent combination of great food and very good service.”

“Eaten here twice, and it was delicious both times. First was a choose your own stirfry with lots of veggies. More recently, I wasn't very hungry, so I tried the chilli garlic mogo (pictured after I'd started eating), so flavoursome and big enough for a light meal on its own. Highly recommended!”

“My friends and I were wandering around, hungry and hopeful, when Hawksmoor in Spitalfields caught our eye. From the outside, it looked promising. Inside? Even better. Think cozy wooden furniture, low lights doing their moody thing, and a vibe that says, "Relax, you're in good hands." We grabbed a table, ordered a very charming bottle of Valpolicella, and went for the "let’s share everything and regret nothing" approach. Here’s what we tackled: Old Spot belly ribs, fillet with bone marrow and caramelized onion (fancy but make it delicious), a glorious Chateaubriand, and a Sirloin steak. On the side, we invited spinach with lemon and garlic, roasted sweet potato, mash and gravy, and some crispy beef dripping fries to the party. It was a feast. A glorious, unapologetic feast. Only one tiny hiccup: the fillet was a bit over on the doneness scale – more well-done than medium rare. But honestly, we were too happy and full to care. Everything else was a solid hit. Already plotting our return to see what other tasty surprises the menu’s hiding.”

“My husband and I came to celebrate our birthdays on a late night dinner reservation. We were immediately met with smiles and kindness from the host and they were able to sit us about 10 minutes early. We were quickly brought drinks and popcorn which was so sweet and unexpected. Our server Alex was so fun, attentive, and full of energy even though it was late at night (we had a 10:15pm reservation)! He helped make our time such a joy. Alex was absolutely great and it was a pleasure to have him as our server. Even though it wasn’t the exact date of our birthdays, he kindly brought us prosecco to cheers with without us asking. We ordered steak, the chili pepper burger, and macaroni & cheese which were all delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked and the burger was juicy as ever. The macaroni was so good we ordered a second! The food came out quick and the prices were very affordable especially for a steakhouse—great for being on a budget! I would highly recommend this place and I wish we could come again during our stay! You will be blessed if you happen to have Alex as your server! Thank you Alex and Flat Iron! We hope to be back!”

“This is my favourite place in this area. If I work nearby, I always come here for lunch. The eat in menu changes slightly everyday and the food is fresh and tasty for what you get. I have been a fan for over 10 years!”

“Here for a celebratory meal, and was an excellent venue for it. Decor was simple, understated but beautiful warm lighting and eloquent. Wine list was excellent, slightly on the pricier side. Food was absolutely the main event. Sharing small plates (modern European) is the vibe of the restaruant- we had 4 dishes between the two of us. The star of the shows were the Sumac green peas in a fresh goat's curd, mopped up beautifully with foccacia, and the beautifully tender lamb leg with a gorgeous nectarine sauce. Grilled watermelon with tajin spice was very interesting. We will be back to try more from this excellent bistro.”

“We had a birthday meal at Franco Manca last night and it was fantastic. Firstly we'd booked for too few and they accommodated us very kindly, food was fast and delicious and our waiter was extremely attentive. I also asked (last minute) for a Tiramisu with a candle in for the birthday host and it was catered for no questions asked. The whole restaurant sang with us, and we were given free limoncello shots for the table (11 of us), and an additional free tiramisu. Was such a fun evening and we felt so welcome. Thank you!!”

“I recommend Chirashi Don, because sometimes you want sashimi with a little rice, and for me it feels more balanced than rolls. I love the shiso leaf, it’s a traditional medicinal flavour, and I like that the ginger is yellow. Less dyes. Staff are quick and it’s a busy spot so best book your reservation!”

“I've ordered twice and the food has come very fast and hot. The food is authentic enough to be amazing but not overpowering. I love their katsu curry very much and will always order that from now on. It's lovely to have a halal good sushi restaurant close to me. I just wish they made bubble tea as well but that's more my preference rather than the restaurant. I would highly recommend to everyone. I also recommend ordering directly from their website as they always have some sort of discount.”
