“I have been attending bodens for about five years now and in those five years I have learnt so many new skills. I currently attend their Saturday morning combined musical theatre classes from 10am-1pm and their tap dance classes on Mondays from 5pm-5:45pm. I also take part in Trinity musical theatre exams which I am very lucky and grateful to do. Bodens has given me many opportunities and taught me many things that I will use in everyday life and in the future. Being a student at bodens has helped my confidence grow massively. They never fail to produce incredible shows where every student is involved and having fun. All members of staff are lovely and are always nice . They encourage us to take risks in theatre and help us understand what life is like in the theatre industry. Not only are the staff kind, but the students are too; they are all very welcoming to new people and are always open to making new friends. I have really enjoyed every moment during my time at bodens so far, and I think other young people should get to experience this too.”

“We had our humanist wedding ceremony at the Space (it is not licensed for legal weddings, we did this separately at a registry office). It's a lovely old building and worked really well for our ceremony. Theres a nice bar onsite and small outside area, partly covered which helped as it rained for some of the day. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and the hire rate is very reasonable. Thanks everyone!”

“What a grand building. The amount of beautiful detail in the design of this stunning building is just amazing. I came here for the comic book and illustrated artwork fair it's really great. The artwork I found was wonderful. I found some great skull artwork and fantasy artwork. I really enjoyed my visit. Also plenty of toilets, lots to see from art on display. There is an amazing gallery in the bar area. Which has a wide range of drinks. I highly recommend here. If you are into interesting artwork and photography. I will post the photos I found. “I did the harness and bungee taster as a birthday present. That is certainly an experience that put me out of my comfort zone but brought a lot of joy too! The staff here are solid professionals and I trusted them entirely. Definitely a fun and unconventional activity to try!”

“We went as a family of four. The food here is absolutely delicious! One thing was not got right was our paella. I ordered a food one they delivered a meat one. We are easygoing people so it was fine. It helps that it’s delicious. Tapas - we have 6 including the salad. See pics. Absolutely recommended. But you could skip the chicken wings and order something else. Chicken wings are… just wings. Nothing special. The rest is so yum! The paella carne is delicious. The chorizo is soft not chewy. Sorry forgot to take pics! We also ordered the grilled seafood - salmon, sea bass, mussels, monk fish and 1 sardines. It tasted fresh as if off the sea. How ? Beats me! It was gorgeous! We also had 4 cocktails. The peach one is sooo good. Skip the passion fruit one. So tangy! Dessert was churros and profiteroles. Both are gorgeous! Staff was attentive and not intrusive. Service was quick and it’s a laid back atmosphere. For 4 people with 5 tapas, 2 mains, 4 cocktails, 2 desserts and 1 tea came to just under £139 with service charge included. It was our first time here. Definitely would come again. I totally recommend it!”

“Have been going here since 1979 It's a very magical place and serves the community very well, a beautiful hall with stage, professional lighting etc, 52 years of shows with Be Your Theatre have performed I'm this very building Come to the show, let's have a full house 28th and 29th December It's aptly called The New Year Revolution( its all about climate change and performed all through improvisation only) Anyway it's very special in the heart of Barnes, most people live in houses!!!! “The definitive, inclusive local community hub with a heart. It provides a vast range of social, cultural and educational activities as well as a drop-in support centre. In addition to its indoor facilities there is a lovely little community garden which is partly sheltered so that it can be enjoyed in almost all weathers. The staff and volunteers tended to be highly enthusiastic and caring which is probably why the place has such a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere.”

“Rest assured parking is available free of charge to users and their guests of St Michaels Community Centre. The conditions being as clearly sign posted in the car park that the vehicle registration details are entered into the tablet located in the main and small hall granting them free parking for the day. The reviewer below who paints a false slanderous picture fails to mention that she herself did correctly input her registration details into the tablet on arrival at the venue so clearly was very aware. Cctv evidence and central ANPR mainframe system confirms this as fact. She clearly failed to remind her guests who failed to read the signs which culminated in the parking management issuing tickets to her guests and thus - she now attempts to portion blame elsewhere.”
