Becket House Nursery is an exceptional place where children are nurtured, inspired, and encouraged to thrive. The teachers are truly remarkable, providing individualized attention and fostering a warm, caring environment where every child feels valued and supported. Their dedication to the children’s well-being and development is evident in every interaction, making it a joy to see the little ones flourish under their guidance. The nursery offers a perfect balance of structure and exploration, including twice-daily short walks to the nearby park where children can play, interact, and connect with nature. Dannie loves going to Becket House, where the safe and nurturing environment allows them to feel secure and happy every day, giving me peace of mind to leave her in such a trusted place. What truly sets Becket House apart is the passion and vision of the owner and nursery manager, who consistently strive to provide innovative and engaging experiences for the children, such as the NAO robot which provides interactive learning. Every day, they introduce professional activities from outside, such as drama, music with instruments, yoga, and sports, ensuring a diverse and enriching experience.”

“We had a fabulous prosecco afternoon tea at the Botanical Brasserie. We used a voucher through virgin experiences for Kew gardens+afternoon tea. You need to pre-book your table for afternoon tea, which we did 3 weeks before and had a lot of selection of times etc. We sat outside with views overlooking the lake and palm house; umbrellas provided welcomed shade. Staff were happy to seat us 45 mins before our booked slot (2.30pm), which was really helpful. The staff were attentive, checking on us regularly and our afternoon tea came out very quickly. The selection of cakes and scones were delicious. The sandwiches were lovely, nothing overly special, but nice all the same. A lovely atmosphere and beautiful afternoon. I'd recommend it.”

“Excellent service from Grenville in the showroom who really understood our requirements for our new kitchen. His installers, Denys and his team, were wonderful. They worked long hours to get the job done on time, nothing was too much trouble and the workmanship was exemplary. I would definitely recommend Lane and Wenden if you’re looking for a new kitchen.”

“My wife and I just visited this place for the first time inquiring about the TPB induction hobs for our new home project, we met Pao who take everything way and beyond and was very helpful and explained everything to us thoroughly. We can’t wait to go back in a few weeks time.”

“I was a bit hesitant with booking due to the previous reviews, however I booked through Treatwell and had a really good experience. Staff were friendly and I was made aware of a £8 surcharge for the Christmas stickers I wanted to add to my shellac nails which was absolutely fine and I appreciated being made aware before they added the stickers. My nails are beautiful and the lady who did them today was very gentle. I would recommend.”

“I love my local Jigsaw shop! The sales team there is wonderful - ladies that are well mannered, never forceful or annoying, just naturally welcoming and ready to assist if you need them. The store is always clean, tidy and well organised. Also worth mentioning their good taste for dressing and fashion too, these things are noticeable.”

“When I arrived outside I was thinking the worst. But my room was excellent. Man at reception was a jolly character and good laugh. He let me leave my bags as I was too early to check in. Will stay here again”

“Had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Maid Guest Rooms & what a little gem it is. Our room (King Suite 5) was immaculate & comfortable. The room was well equipped with Freeview TV, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron/ ironing board & fan. There was also a fully stocked mini bar (chargeable) The most impressive thing from arrival to departure was the first class service we received from all the staff who were helpful, polite, cheerful & would always have a chat. We had breakfast & high tea in the Original Maids of Honour tearoom both were delicious & plentiful, receiving a 20% discount as a guest.. On street parking is available & we were lucky enough to get a space directly outside the property. The parking permit is £5 per day which is available on arrival The rooms are ideally situated for a visit to Kew Gardens & into central London on the tube. For the best room rates would recommend you book direct & not through a booking site.”

“Got held up in roadworks and arrived on the dot of 7pm as store was closing. All staff went above and beyond so i could collect my online item needed for child's holiday. They had already closed the till but reopened it for me. During this and other visits, all staff on the click and collect and menswear were amazing. There is one more reserved member of staff who seems less in tune with customers but that won't detract from this well earned 5 star review. You never know what's going on for people and she did her job. Not everyone can smile all the time and i didn't take it personally. All the other team members were amazing. FYI NEXT your qr codes don't work? And well done for range of affordable summer clothing and swimwear for all the family, the online swimwear selection was great.”
