“In the heart of Croydon, a Sri Lankan restaurant, from the outside it did not suggest anything good, in reality, a really charming, clean and well-kept restaurant. short waiting times. GREAT FOOD really tasty. reasonable prices. Really courteous staff also very friendly manger. bathrooms clean and well maintained. if you are in the area I recommend it. great! Also plates are really nice with sun and moon.”

“We came here for my friends 40th! We were placed in one of the cosy booths upstairs. Such a lovely quirky restaurant. The waiters were very friendly and served us straight away. Good was delicious especially the steak! Cooked to perfection! Prices really reasonable. We all had a great time and the live singer was a great touch too.”

“Taste of India is the perfect spot to fill our hearts if we are away from home and missing our food. The quality of their dishes and service is highly excellent, and they provide unique dishes that are hard to find elsewhere. Also interesting is their setting and interior decor , which reflects Indian culture.”

“Great furniture store and cafe. We had to return some furniture as we ordered the wrong item our mistake. The return process was easy you just enter a code then go to a till 40 seconds and it was all done. We then headed upstairs to try the cafe, it was breakfast time so that's what we had I tried the £2.99 vegetarian breakfast it was delicious the coffee tasted good also. For the price and quality it without a doubt its a great breakfast stop. Someone on the reviews said on their visit the cafe was dirty, on my visit I found the cafe area spotless and fresh throughout. My appreciation to the cleaning staff thanks. After that we headed through the store again I really enjoyed it I found no faults whatsoever. Disabled access is brilliant throughout. My only concern was all the staff we encountered were very unhappy and non engaging without any exceptions such a shame, perhaps its not a good place to work maybe.”

“Had a really lovely experience at Wagamama over the weekend. I was having a rare child-free day and was on FaceTime with my mother who lives abroad, and my server, Fatima, was just wonderful. She helped me choose the pork belly ramen - something I’d never tried before - and it was absolutely the right choice: comforting, flavourful, and perfect for the cold weather. Fatima was genuinely warm and personable, and even took a moment to be sweet and engaging with my mom on FaceTime. It was such a small gesture, but it made the whole experience feel really human and memorable. Service like that is exactly why I keep coming back to Wagamama. Fatima is a real credit to the team, and her warmth made the whole visit feel extra special.”

“Myself and my daughter went for dinner expecting a nice pub roast, but the menu was Thai only, well we chose from the menu we ate and my God the food was absolutely out of this world great choice too, enjoyed it thoroughly.”

“Little Taiwan with its vibrancy and sense of welcoming soft and peaceful atmosphere in the middle of modern glass and concrete environment. I highly recommend its place for its character, service and of course food! We have ordered all vegetarian dishes and were well fed with beautifully served on a plate very tasty, authentic food! My son and myself have had an impression that we have been lucky to be a guest at some Taiwanese family home and were pampered with a well cooked home food! I promise you, you will not regret a minute when you decided to give BaoBao place a try! If you will order from them a delivery, you will get it all beautifully packed and a smiling cat will definitely cheer you up!”

“Great new place just opened. Italian bites & cocktails, cool decor. Pasta was home cooked & tasted great. Long Island ice tea was mixed the way it should be... About time we had a cocktail bar worth visiting.”

“The only bar worth visiting in Croydon if you enjoy craft beer. Excellent range of beers both on tap and in the fridge. They usually have food available at weekends, and on weekdays you’re welcome to bring food in. Knowledgable staff.”

“I flew here from Melbourne where you can't find Foster's on tap anywhere (go figure!). The beer is great, and most are pulled from a traditional pump. The fish and chips is up there with the the best I've had. This place vibes like I would hope every little street pub would vibe. It's a shame I have to fly back home to the other Croydon in Melbourne.”

“Ponte Nuovo has got to be the best Italian in Croydon. A great selection of starters, the bread and oil is so simple yet incredibly moreish, and the main courses are full of flavour and depth. Big big portions. Save space for the deserts, the gigantic profiteroles in a sea of chocolate sauce, the insanely rich tiramisu. Staff are very friendly and speak highly of the italian chef and kitchen staff; a sure sign of a good front of house/back of house team relationship. Service was perfect, meals bought out together and well presented. This is somewhere you bring family for a great dinner. At this time of year it had a good but not overpowering christmas decorative theme. We're going back soon.”

“I had an amazing meal her with my mate. We had the the meat platter for 2 to start with and it was very tasty. For main I had a lamb curry and the meat was so tender. Overall this place is very good value for money”

“Visited a couple of times since restrictions were lifted. Very professional service with staff attending tables to take orders regularly. Definitely London pricing, cocktails will set you back £9.50+ a pop but they are delicious and pack a punch. And the food!!!...I had the hake, partner had the bone marrow burger - I have not had food that good since the Michelin starred Albert's Table closed down. Outstanding! You do need to book in advance and you only get 2 hrs per booking per day. Not all tables have heaters but vast majority do and 90% of tables are covered. On our 2nd visit the heater above our table wasn't working which was a shame because we would have stayed longer if it had been. A must visit for cocktail lovers and foodies alike.”

“Been coming here years and it’s one of my favourite restaurants, it’s a cool place with delicious food. I do wish there was a little more variety on the menu but what they do make is delicious. It’s always clean and the staff are friendly.”

“Our local pub. We are not regulars but came here quite a few times with our baby son and with friends. Beer is always great, staff is lovely. Haven’t had a chance to try to food yet but will do soon. It’s dog friendly too (it has two beer gardens). We do grief the vivid blue colour. It was such a nice vibe. The white is quite ordinary.”

“First time @Ayat and loved it. Good was great, flavour dishes prepared with care. Interior looks great has it's own unique flair although music was to loud. Service was a bit lacking. We where seated promptly and our food came out in timely manner but the waitress didn't check on us at all (she was on her phone all the time we where there as we could see from our spot). We need to get up and ask her for another round of drinks as she wasn't paying any attention to us at all.And then she got our simple order for drinks wrong, we where the only costumers there so no distractions and it was quite early an a lazy Sunday. Hope that the service does improve as the food was delicious. Will come back to give it another chance for sure.”

“A great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors—sitting in the garden here is always a treat. It’s a very friendly and welcoming spot, made even better by the amazing bartender, Ian. He goes above and beyond to make everyone feel at home, even learning a few words from my native language, which truly meant a lot. I'm always greeted with the biggest smile, and it’s clear the place wouldn’t be the same without him. A genuinely great guy who adds so much to the atmosphere. Highly recommended!”
