“Absolutely lovely hospitality and service. From the food to the gentleman behind the order. Everything was tip top. Delicious Turkish cuisine for a very very reasonable price. It's one of those restaurants where you think "what should I order next time", not "will I order next time". Food was very homely and delivery was really quick. Most local restaurants I will always have a little issue as something might be missing or not cooked right. This has been the only place in a very long time where everything was delicately checked, cooked and prepped to an exceptional standard. If I could I would give this place 10* Very impressed.”

“Amazing from start to finish. Greeted at the door, shown to the table, the decor is stunning, the staff are all so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious very good portion size no waiting around served quickly and given the time to enjoy the food and not rushed to clear the table, they do have a 2hr dining policy but not strictly enforced. It was a lovely relaxing evening and definitely worth it”

“This was my first experience in a Furniture Village and I was very impressed. The staff were incredibly helpful and not pushy like you get in other furniture shops. I’d like to particularly mention the black gentleman in the sharpe suite with glasses (whose name I’ve forgotten) and Richard Hutchins. Their attention to detail and customer service was brilliant. We decided to purchase a sofa from another store based on price but we wanted to acknowledge their good work - thankyou.”

“After years of use one of our love seats developed a broken zig zag spring! Which meant sitting on it was difficult. I found Love your Furniture through a Google search and was pleased they were based in my locality and also that they were mobile. I contacted Paul and sent photos, he gave me a price and we arranged a date. Paul was happy to rearrange the date and when he came assessed both seats I had, replaced the spring and sorted the sagging seats. End result seats are as new. I would highly recommend him for all your furniture needs.”

“104 Restaurant by Richard Wilkins is very small (max 16 covers) but, for me, is a perfect restaurant. The food is outstanding (as good as any Michelin starred restaurant). The service was excellent, friendly and informative and there was a lovely ambience where you could enjoy the food, wine and your friends/family. I couldn't recommend it more highly!”

“We popped in to look at some soft furnishings after previously visiting and having a very happy experience about two years ago.. So thinking we’d have a look about which we did only for the staff to recognise us (from 2 years previously) and be aware of what we had purchased and where we were from.. absolutely outstanding service, the owner should be very very happy with his staff. The service we always receive is second to none. So to be recognised from a previous purchase is fantastic.. Btw the furniture we purchased is still as new… So no need to go to the big furniture companies and be a number, just visit The London Road Furniture Company and feel as an individual and very valued.. “This place surely isn't the biggest or most privately contained cafe in a hospital, but that really is the beauty of it. Run by volunteers, these people were wonderful to talk to, and not only to see them with the choice to dedicate this time, but simply considering how long some have lived for (e.g. age 92), and how good their health is. Onto the actual cafe! The price of food here from sandwiches to cafe drinks is the type of reasonable I am expecting and am so happy to see, when comparing to such, including the Costa in the hospital. In my opinion that includes the range of cakes, biscuits and bars too! Having my [veg] sandwhich toasted made it extra fulfilling, and the cappuccino was super! And it gets better: All profits made, go to a certain division of the hospital. More people should visit this cafe to appreciate the efforts devoted by volunteers here. Hospitals should have more affordable, lovingly run cafe's like this! Obviously that doesn't even have to be as a patient!”

It’s a 4 star hotel but the service is most definitely 5 stars. The friendliest and most helpful staff I can remember coming across at a hotel. We were quite a demanding bunch but nothing was too much trouble.”
