“This is the eat-in to have. Food is always nice. Fresh and a lot of flavour. Always arrives hot and fast. You can call up and ask any questions about new dishes that you would like to try. They will always do there best to explain what it is and what it has in it. The people who work there are super friendly very polite nothing to much for them.”

The place looks absolutely fantastic after the recent renovation — modern, cozy, and with a great atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. A special shout-out to Vitória, who provided outstanding service from start to finish. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Her positive energy added so much to our evening! “This is a lovely little French restaurant, with pretty French music! The French bread and caper butter was very delicious had to order more bread to finish off the yummy butter! My partner ordered the scallops and I got the pea soup - both very tasty! The decor is lovely, wooden floors and velvet blue sofas. The veal and plaice was quite good and the dauphinoise was excellent! Would definitely recommend and want to try the lobster ravioli next time!”

“Very nice. The coffee is a reasonable price, and very good quality - it doesn't taste like a dark roast so there is lots of room for the lighter flavours to come out. The staff are lovely. Unusual armchairs to sit in, or more traditional seating towards the back. Lots of accompanying food is offered, with gluten-free options available. It's so much better than a chain brand - and independent businesses are worth supporting. My cappuccino was £2.40. Loyalty cards are available. This could well be my favourite coffee in central Twickenham since The Coffee Lab closed down. Well worth a visit.”

The place is always spotless and well-kept, which makes the environment really pleasant. “I’m a big fan of this local pub. I used to live just around the corner, and it truly felt like a second home — or even a cosy grandparents’ house. It’s surprisingly spacious, with chic dried flower arrangements on every table (even the cutlery boxes are lovely). The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly, smiling, and attentive — not overbearing, just genuinely kind and efficient. They regularly rotate seasonal beers, so there’s always something new to try, and the food is consistently good. You can watch sports on TV, play darts, enjoy a few board games, and there’s even something to keep the kids entertained. A proper gem of a pub.”

“The store has had a recent refit and fast checkouts were increased. Always lower prices on vegetables and most goods. The range of products has also increased and their "delux" range is excellent. I also like their special week promotions like Italian week, Iberian week and others, where they have extended ranges and specifically new products. There is a lot to like here.”

“Our son lives in Twickenham and this is our ‘go to’ hotel when we visit. Great location, clean cosy rooms and friendly efficient staff. We sometimes take our evening meal here and have always been very happy with the quality and choice. Good beers too. On one or two occasions we’ve struggled to get the television to work. It’s not a straightforward system so it can be easier to simply connect to the Internet and use my iPad. Aside this small niggle the hotel is perfect for us and we will continue to use it. Watch the room prices though, they can be very high on certain rugby match days.”

“One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been. We had mussels for starter to share which they brought in two separate plates and made it easy. The starter was massive and absolutely enough for two people. Then we had pepperoni calzone and salmon pasta bake which were amazing. The food is absolutely fresh and flavoured here. The calzone was delicious and stuffed which made it a big portion and the salmon pasta bake was perfectly cheesy and in a great creamy white sauce. We also had Tiramisu which was perfectly creamy. The staff were nice and friendly. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for fresh and flavoured italian food served in a huge portions.”

“Sheesh mahal We always look for a bring your own drink restaurant as they usually have the best food! This restaurant did not disappoint! We had the most amazing welcome. Were given a lovely booth for 2! We started with Poppadums and dips. Delicious! One was unique made from coconut!! With our main we chose the house special lamb chops, chicken madras, pilau rice and peshwari naan! The lamb chops were seconds to none! Unbelievable! When visiting new places we love to go to an Indian and this was in our top 10. The food was first class.”
