The variety and quality of the food are exceptional, from the fresh fruit and natural juices to the freshly baked pastries and hot dishes prepared with care. The atmosphere is calm and elegant, perfect to start the day full of energy. I would especially like to highlight Juan, an excellent waiter who was always attentive, kind, and professional. Thanks to him, the service was flawless and the whole experience even more enjoyable.”

“Great staff, great location and great food. I’ve been a regular here for years and it’s always the place I recommend to friends/family when in the area or if I want a nice chilled day with friends. Cannot recommend their breakfasts enough. Great for veggie options too! Staff are always so lovely, never rush you and the business like to support local artists and caterers too!”

“salmon sashimi has a good texture. The chicken katsu don is very good. Was expecting the egg to be more watery, but it turned out to be over hard which makes the don too dry. The eel don is nice too, however the sauce can be a bit too sweet.”

“Been meaning to leave a review for a very long time, however managed to forget..probably due to the fantastic friendly service we always receive from the team. We are always welcomed with open arms and the team bend over backwards to accommodate us. I must shout out the whole team… they’re all amazing… however, Becks has served us since we first started coming here, since moving in locally, before Jason the Head Chef joined, she was the main reason for our return. Jason joined, the food has been out of this world… I would recommend the roasts - they’re delicious! The beef is served pink and the vegetables are cooked perfectly and well seasoned. It’s always a pleasure coming to visit The Black Horse and we cannot recommend it enough. Final shout out to Becks, Jason… our favourites… and of course Harry, Layla, Ben, Jess, Jack and Ollie. ❤️❤️❤️”

“This cafe carefully provides the very best tasting English Breakfast I have ever experienced. The presentation of which wouldn't be out of place in the best restaurants. They really care about their customers with happy smiling staff who take pride in every aspect of what they do. The cafe is immaculately clean and the prices are excellent value for money. “We absolutely love Sir & Madam! We order takeaways from them regularly and the food is always outstanding – fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully prepared. Delivery is consistently on time. One of the nicest touches is that every so often, they’ll include a complimentary dish from the chef. It’s such a thoughtful gesture and has introduced us to new favourites we might not have tried otherwise. Everything we’ve tasted so far has been divine! Conscious, friendly and attentive staffs, neat environment and well cooked meals. Spent a little over £100 but we were full to the brim and had to ask for takeaway packs...lol.
