“We were researching a riser recliner chair at at Orpington where we met Jon who could not have been more helpful. HSL are made in Yorkshire and come in various sizes from petite to Super Grandee. Most of the chairs will lift up to 25 stones and come in an amazing amount of fabrics including leather. The leather option although lovely costs almost 1/3 more. Jon explained the "fitting" aspect which is very sensible checking on hip width, leg length, height from the floor and 4 other aspects. We were shown probably 100's of fabric, we were offered samples and those they didn't have were posted to us very quickly. We have decided not to buy at the moment but if in the future I would not hesitate to return. The shop is very well appointed and I think there were 3 other lady staff members who were also very helpful. The shop also sells non electric chairs and 3 piece suites which looked very good but we didn't try any as that was not what we wanted. There is a VERY small car park at the rear probably only 3 spaces so if able to walk I would suggest parking elsewhere to save a tight 3+ turn to exit.”

“I have had multiple treatments performed by Rowena and I have been so pleased with the results every time! On my most recent visit I had a small amount of lip filler as I wanted a change but was very anxious about overdoing it. Rowena listened to exactly what I wanted and made me feel very comfortable. I love how it turned out - subtle but amazing!”

“I called The Mobile Coffee Bean at 5:30pm one evening, hoping that they could perform a miracle, and provide a coffee bar for the next day. Somehow they pulled it off! Chris was really friendly and helpful and got everything in place that night. Kieran and Alex arrived on time the next day. They were super nice and got everything set up quickly. I know that none of this matters much if the coffee is terrible but of course it wasn’t. I picked a flat white, which I find a bit hit and miss, but it was lovely. It is very rare for me to write a review but this is thoroughly deserved.”

“Dropped by with my kids for lunch and it was a great experience. The service was brilliant and the owner is friendly and welcoming. The food was good. I had the lamb chops and got the chicken nuggets for the kids. Their prices are well suited and the atmosphere is relaxed. Will definitely be back.”

“Our 1st visit and we are already planning a return visit. A very busy Sunday afternoon, but the food was delicious I had the duck which was divine hubby had roast chicken (as they had sold out of the beef, it did look delicious and we would have ordered that for the 3 of us, hopefully next time), roast potatoes were a little hard and the roast pork was dry. Pistachio souffle was superb. The service was very, very good. Friendly, polite and engaging.”

“Managed to get a last minute booking for Sunday lunch and how happy I was that we did. From the minute we arrived and were welcomed, by Joel our waiter, the experience just got better and better. Joel was lovely and so good with the children as well. Advised us on food options and very courteous and friendly. And the roast dinner was just amazing, I had lamb rump, 2 of us had the trio of roast and 1 had the pie of the day. Food was absolutely great, best roast dinner I have had for years. Will be back.”

“Always well stocked and presented, staff are quite active and attentive, easy layout means everything is easy to find. Don't see the manager on the floor much, seen him once in the year or so I've been coming here, that was to open a till when they were busy, although the lady did have to ring 4 or 5 times lol very happy with the shop, enjoy coming here to shop. “My kitchen has been transformed from a purely functional room, to a space the whole family loves spending time in. I wasn't expecting very much when I first went to visit Piqu as I'd already seen a design from another company that I liked. But meeting with Adrian, I knew Piqu would be my choice. Adrian was able to take into account my vision for the kitchen, how I use it and my budget, to give me something that surpassed my expectations in terms of design, layout, quality and beauty. The choice of colour, 'Moonlight Green', along with the unique Sensa Sant Angelo granite is a combination that gives me so much joy!! Adrian's expertise was key in ensuring the kitchen was designed to work with how I intended to use it, and what I planned to store in its cupboards. He was very patient and accommodated my back and forth on some of the finer details. But more exceptional was his attitude when dealing with issues that arose, which is inevitable in a project of that scale (the kitchen was part of a whole house extension and renovation). He took responsibility to ensure all problems were resolved, quibble-free, and to a high standard. I 100% recommend Piqu to anyone who's looking for a new kitchen.”
