“I upgraded to an annual membership as you cannot do the zoo justice in just one visit. Well maintained enclosures with happy looking animals. Information and knowledgeable staff on hand everywhere and very pleased to interact with visitors. Breeding programs in evidence for the rare creatures too. Very educational for youngsters, although in all honesty I go during the week when less children are about. Favourite enclosures, Butterflies, Reptiles, tropical birds and rainforest. (Some of which are open enclosures so you are up close and personal with the animals) Restaurant available on site although I didn't love it. Gift shop good for a souvenir or two.”

“We held a work party in the upstairs room at the Hospital Tavern and it was brilliant! The events manager was fantastically helpful, service was brilliant, and the selection of food and drink available was fab, we didn't scratch the surface of the equipment available (mics, lights, sound etc!) but what we used was great. The pub is in a great location and has a really friendly, fun vibe... also nice late opening hours!”

For me this place is a little gem as, since I moved to the area, I struggled to find a brunch place where they offer less "traditional" (and greener) breakfast options, finally I found it and I love the homemade hash browns with avocado and feta cheese! “I have stayed for three days with my sister, I cannot recommend enough this hotel. Location is perfect in a peaceful street a stone away from Oxford street. Really convenient to explore London. Customer service is just brilliant they were lovely, extremely helpful and great professionals. The standard room is not huge however spotless, quiet and the comfiest bed I’ve tried in London so far. I will be back for sure.”
