“Recently stayed here for its fantastic location near to the station and all amenities, staff were extremely helpful and considerate going above and beyond. It’s cheap and cheerful and very clean as you would expect. When I couldn’t figure out how to work the elevator key one kind lady offered to come up with me to demonstrate. Others were also very approachable and more than happy to offer assistance. It’s so rare to find kind and responsive team members these days, they really made my stay and made us feel so welcome. Thank you to all the staff at Kingston Travelodge, it was truly a pleasure!”

“==Nice Hotel - Good Location - Friendly Service== We stayed there for 6 nights. The front desk staffs are helpful as well as offer friendly service! As the mobility concerns, they immediately switch a larger room in one level instead two levels according to our reservation!~ The hotel location is convient, just few minutes walk from Paddington station. However, you may need to compromise a little bit of noise. The acoustic can be improved. Great thanks to Rania, Stella, Jeana and Priscilla!~”

“A nice hotel with the carpark at the front, there's no lift only stairs, the rooms are large and there are no bath tubs. There is an interconnecting door from Travelodge to Toby Carvey, it's located between the hotel reception and the stair case, it's easy not to notice it, I only noticed it when I was in Toby Carvey and went to the Gents toilets which is actually in Travelodge side.”

“Helped design and fit a kitchen. Paul was very helpful with designing the kitchen and facilitating the project. Clive and others fitted the kitchen and were very kind, professional and helpful. “Clean and comfortable. Busy check in but exceptionally courteous and warm welcome. Parking limited but able to get a space and simple bus link to the nearest tube - very easy for northern line & beyond. Our power in the room went out during the night - one quick call to reception and the fuse was sorted within a couple of minutes. No fuss & checked we were all ok. Happy and would gladly stay again. Didn’t have an opportunity to try the restaurant but it smelt good! Next time!”

“I’ve stood on there with my wife for 6 days. People working on there were so nice and comprehensive. Diego, the caretaker was great on helping us, every time with a big smile. Nice location, close to bus and train station, quiet borough at all. Rented a small room with no windows. Bed was comfortable. Temps inside were nice also. Good experience.”

“Amazing service, even at 2 AM! We arrived in the middle of the night and were still warmly welcomed. Haidar helped us with parking nearby and even solved an issue with our booking — all around 2 AM! Super friendly and helpful staff. We have a fridge and a microwave and kettle in the room! So happy with our stay!”

“Stayed in a family room for 6, on the basement. Room 53. To be honest, I didn't have high hopes after reading some reviews. But I was very gladly surprised! Staff are very kind, the rooms are clean (except for the fact that I have animosity against carpets), the beds were comfortable enough, considering its not a 4*hotel. You get what you pay, in this case, in my experience, more! The breakfast was acceptable, small room, but didn't have to wait either morning, and we were 6! Freshly baked (frozen, I assume) croissants, milk, cereals, toasts... I can't say I liked the coffee though. BUT! And I can't believe I didn't see this in any review: there is a lounge in the groundfloor with a coffee/hot chocolate machine you can use for free! I recommend this small and underrated hotel 100%. One negative aspect would be the stairs being quite narrow, and no lift, but they are very open about that, after all, its a beautiful old building.”

The location was good -- there is a bus stop right next to the hostel; the hostel overall, as well as the room we stayed in, was very clean as well. The nightly prices were very reasonable.
