“This is a wonderful find! A very unassuming bar/restaurant, with wooden benches outdoors by the water, we were absolutely delighted by the meal and very welcoming service. We had burgers and these were one of the best, juiciests beef burgers I've ever had, with lots of delicious French fries. The interiour is a little dated but that doesn't much matter, frankly it just adds to the very relaxed atmosphere. It's a family owned, local business open most evenings. I'll be certainly back!”

“When we went to Nando's in Woolwich and the second we arrived we were warmly welcome by this kindly lady who showed us a table. She continued to assist us with queries we had throughout our meal. The food was delicious and well spiced. The daughter tried the hot periperi chicken thighs, and my son ate the vegetarian option of burgers, which he absolutely enjoyed. Other son went for spiced fries with his chicken. He found the spice bit too salty. But all in all, it was a good super for everyone”

“Headed here after visiting the waterpark on the lake at Lakeside. Beautiful looking restaurant & lovely, helpful staff. Nice food options!! I do not agree with the service charge however £11 for us! Although the staff were superb I think £11 is steep. I do however recommend the place. I do hope the staff actually get the £11 and not the fat cats at the top.”

“I went there on a Friday night. I was hungry. My food was delicious, warm, and filling. The meat was tender, all the fried bits were cooked perfectly. I couldn’t be more pleased. The ciders I had were so tasty. It’s a bit much for one person, but as mentioned, I was hungry. My server, bartender, and everyone else in there were super nice and attentive to my order and made me feel like I was home. The place was quiet with only a few more people dining when I was there. Maybe because it was too early for a Friday night. I was there around 5:30 pm. The atmosphere of this place is incredible. It’s right by the river. The outside area has plenty of tables, but it was a bit cold to sit outside. I sat inside and felt the warm welcome of the staff and the peace and quiet I looking for while eating my delicious meal. I wonder how crowded and busy this place gets once it’s party time.”

“One of my favourite childhood memories is going to mobeen for a kebab roll - it was one of the best treats and it’s nice to see it still tastes as good as ever. The kebab used to be £1 of course through inflation it’s gone up to £4 and now the only option is double kebab- so that’s still a good price. The sign is still the same and the board looks to have never been revamped, many would call it dated but you know what? I love that. Please keep it the same”
