“First time visiting Mandarin and we had a wonderful evening. I was craving Chinese food and this really hit the spot! We had no reservation but called 10mins before and the staff were super friendly and warm. We had looked at the menu beforehand & ordered the vegetarian starter plate for 2 - a great selection, and we really loved the salt&chilli broccoli, and satay skewers. I would definitely have the brocolli again! (Spring rolls could have been a little bit crispier) Staff were attentive and warm, decor was lovely and it was a relaxing & enjoyable experience (unlike some restaurants that rush you!) We weren't rushed to order mains, and were really impressed with our black bean mock duck sizzler. We were a bit too full but have leftover Singapore noodles as takeaway. Great veggie & vegan options with lots of range & clear labelling (sometimes very hard to come by!) We will definitely be back. Thank you Poona for a lovely evening”

It was hot. Chips were well cooked. Chicken tasted fresh and was well cooked. Still moist inside and tasty crispy coating. Wish I had asked for some salt sachets as my chips were understandably unsalted. My fault. Drink was nice and cold. All for less than £6. Perfect. I would recommend and use again if I’m in the area.”

“The place to be! Super friendly staff and a Chef who delivers the dishes himself. Had way too much on the table and the waiter offered to pack a takeaway bag for us. We had lunch from the dinner leftovers and it was nothing but gorgeous. The meat is beautifully cooked and the sides very well flavoured. The house wine, both red and white are pretty nice. We were recommended this restaurant by my work colleagues who recently celebrated their birthday here. We had an authentic starter Garlic Bread with Italian Olives Marinated green Nocellara olives from Sicily. Very tasty, compared to other Italian restaurants we've dinned in. Followed by A creamy mushroom and white base calzone with truffled mushrooms, spinach, mascarpone, mozzarella and smoked scamorza cheese - We were very impressed when the Head Chef-Patrick together with his colleague Zollie personaly bought our Calzone to us and introduced themselves. That's what I call an "Attentive Service with Passion" A mega Big Thanks to our Waitress - KLEA who was warm and welcoming - Klea did her best to offer us a Mouth Watering dessert, however we were full from our Calzone Pizza.
